We went to Subway after touring Casa Loma. We knew what to expect. When ordering American cheese the lady looked at me very funny. I forgot I wasn't in America. We still laugh about it.

It has been said that if you were born on a pig farm you don't notice the smell but once you have been away for a while and you get a whiff of porcine excrement " Why it's down right appealing"It must be the same for the millions of subways customers who have grown up in the bussom of the... More

Had a 6 inch deli meat combo with a drink and a bag of chips. Damage was around $8, including taxes. Considering that at any authentic Asian food stall you can a full meal with a quarter chicken or other meats, a soup and a beverage of your choice for $6.5 including taxes, i quess subways are overpriced for its... Always a go too meal when I need a good balance of vegetables and protein. My fav is the combo with lettuce, green peppers and tomato with southwest sauce and sub sauce (vinegrette). Yummy!

If you need fast food, Subway at least provides an inexpensive choice with some healthy choices. Choose whole grain bread with veggies and you can feel righteous about eating fast food. The steak sandwich is pretty good also. Lot's of promos - sandwich, drink, chips etc make it a decent alternative to less healthy fast food.\

I can always count on consistency in the subs no matter where I travel to. There's a certain smell of baking bread when I walk in the door that is very appealing. I love the tuna sub - my husband and I share a foot long and we're stuffed. We love it with ALL the toppings!!

The bread is good and fresh, The selection of toppings is pretty good and they are also fresh. The cold cuts are what they are... you cant expect more form fast food. There is a Subway close to work and every once in a while, I stop in for their breakfast sandwiches. They are made to order, fresh on the spot and it's a nice way to start the day.

Love all its sandwiches and there are so many choices !!! You won't get bored as each one tickles your taste buds and you'll be craving for more. The cold cuts are my favorite but again, try the other combo and mixes. Great value for the price you pay

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
