Not much going on here other than patties. It is mostly just a patty bar, with a few choices. The patties are pretty good quality, and you will be in and out in a few minutes. No place to eat there though, so needing of a quick picnic spot nearby.

Was walking by and came across this place. A great quick bite and very affordable. A patty for under two dollars.

This is a perfect snack food for the little one orfor a first taste of carribean fare. Try one mild and one very spicy. so cheap even if you hate it it is less than a hamburger at mcdonalds.. be careful yhey are very hot (temp) so let it cool before biting in

Stopped in craving a meat pattie, something like 4.20 for a pattie and pop and it was to die for. I will definitely be back next time I'm in town.

The spicy beef Jamaican patties here are off the charts. This 'hole in the wall' is the best spot in the city to have JPs. I recommend you fill up a paper bag with their Jamaican patties immediately.

The only place to get fresh Jamaican Meat Patties. This little stall is a great place to try several types of fresh Jamaican Meat Patties. I stumbled upon this place the first time and a year later I went searching for it. Thank goodness I found it. The fresh patties are so much better than the frozen ones you buy... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
