My sister and I had a quick dinner here after driving up from the States and it was better than expected, and exactly what we needed. Wait staff was charming as well.

Terribly let down by this $18.95 buffet. Very poor selection, tasteless processed "scrambled" eggs, pale sausages, bacon, soggy French toast, potatoes, brown beans. No hot cereals at all. A wee bit of fresh fruit. Get the a la carte instead.

Excellent service. Good food and variety. Made to order apple pie is to die for! They begin setting up tables for breakfast at 8:30pm or so. Breakfast buffet not available after 9:30am but A la Carte is.

This cafe, housed inside the Novotel Hotel, offers some nice options for guests. The breakfast buffet (and to-go options) is an excellent value. The cafe transitions to a bar in the evening and offers a diverse cocktail menu and several TV's for taking in the sports or news of the day. The seating is quite comfortable, so come in and... We had both dinner and breakfast here. Dinner menu was limited, but the food quality was very high. Service fantastic. The breakfast buffet was amazing, but our group only had eggs for breakfast. The exchange rate made this very affordable.

Great options for appetizers and wine. Breakfast was a bit pricey, but also good options. Good location and lots to see in the area.

We were staying at the Novotel Toronto that this Cafe is connected to and the restaurants across the road were packed, so we decided to give this Cafe a try. We sat down and were quickly given drinks of water by our attentive waiter. We looked over the menu, however we had decided it was going to be a cheaper... More

The breakfast buffet is a tad pricy, but the quality of the food is excellent. Nice choice of eggs, breads, mean, fruit, cereals, and the bread is as good as advertised. A nice way to begin the day!

The buffet breakfast was included in our Novotel room rate. It was served til 10 AM. We entered the Cafe about 9:30 AM. Although there was still plenty of eggs, bacon, sausage in the servers, they were only lukewarm There was a platter of fresh fruit, dry cereal choices and yoghurt and a servery to make your own toasted bagel, bread.... Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
