This is the great restaurant to celebrate special occasion. It was a bit dim and romantic. I ordered filet steak and my husband ordered new york strip loin. Both of them were tender and juicy, asparagus and mushroom on the side are gently salted. We were not big fun of french frie. It was nothing special and we are... More

Very impressive setting in an old 1930s style Greek column bank converted to a restaurant. This is a high-end dining establishment and you know it as soon as you walk in. Reservations are expected but the food is worth it. Portions are very large and the prices are proportional to the size, of course. I found the wine very expensive... More

We went to Harbour Sixty on Feb 11th for my sister's birthday. When we got there they couldn't find our reservation and we had to wait an hour for a table. Everyone placed their order and half of the steaks that were ordered were not how everyone wanted and 2 of the guests they had to take it back 3... More

Harbour Sixty in Toronto is good but expensive. have visited this restaurant with some friends. Service and food are good (as expected) but I think I think you pay for the name. I think it is mainly a high end restaurant for business lunches and dinners. They serve fish and steaks and have an extensive wine list. Everything is expensive.... More

Celebrated an early Valentine's dinner with my family. My son phoned in the reservation two weeks prior to the date. We were 5 guests in total. When we arrived we were sat in the bar area with no mention of why? It was extremely loud (music) and congested with staff running back and forth to the bar which was right... More

The place has changed since I have been there. It's much more updated in the decor, and the other room with the bar is under renovations which are aimed to be complete in February 2016 around Valentine's Day. The majority I was told are regulars, however they are open to whomever but possibly not a jeans and tshirt place. The... More

We had a great meal, the service was wonderful and met expectations. The only issue was the Maître D or boss was yelling at the hostesses when we walked in. My wife and I own our own business and we understand that sometimes corrections need to be made. They don't need to be made on the sales floor in front... More

The food was good, not a value type restaurant I think you pay for the name mostly. The tuna tartare was much too salty. Do not order I repeat do not order. So my only real concern was the wine they brought to our table. I asked for a duckhorn wine or something similar. I had said I am not... More

The restaurant was busy however they were able to accommodate for a table of 2. We ordered the Shrimp Cocktail followed by a ribeye steak. Steak was cooked as I had requested. Our sides were Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes as everything is a la cart. Overall had a better experience this time around then the last time I visited... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
