Highest quality service and food. Formal surroundings, attentive staff, and first rate food. Hard to understand some of the negative reviews although they are correct in the high prices. Definitely one of the more pricey options downtown. But anything brought to the table not well prepared would be easily corrected to your satisfaction in a place like this. My visit... More

Had been wanting to try this restaurant for years but as I no longer live in the country I kept forgetting about it whenever I'd visit; well we finally made it on our last trip and boy, what a mess this place was. We arrived & were greeted in a very disorganized & chaotic reception area, so first impressions were... More

For a place that reckons its a top-of-the-market steak joint, I'd simply say it has a lot of work to do to get to that point. This was disappointing on so many levels. Near empty bar area but try to seat peope in the back, around a corner out of sight. I appreciate we were almost the only people adhering... More

Always a favorite but they blew it today. First they couldn't find the reservation. Appetizers were good, but both steaks were undercooked. Service at dessert was very slow and non-attentive. Don't want to sound ungrateful but 4 bills for dinner for 2 should be flawless. Maybe next time?

We sat in a private dining room on the second floor. It was formal and intimate. The food was excellent! The protein portions are large, the portion of the sides was adequate and the apps/ dessert the same as in most restaurants. I had the sea bass $46 before tax and it was cooked to perfection. The lobster mash was... More

Harbour 60 is a superb steakhouse. It's the classic a la carte menu - grab your cut; add share-able sides. Steaks were done beautifully - exactly to order. Tender; flavorful; cut like butter. There was a broad spectrum of sides, all healthy portions for plentiful sharing. The shrimp cocktail were enormous! Have never seen bigger. Desserts are scary good -... More

Hold onto your hats steak lovers, because you’ll find the best steak of your life at this restaurant. Maybe an exaggeration, maybe not. But suffice it to say that the bone-in rib eye steak at Harbour 60 is the stuff of wet dreams. I was fortunate to attend a business dinner at this restaurant with 12 of my coworkers. We... More

We were a group of 6 people, we all really enjoyed the food. The service was exceptional. This is one of those classic steak houses where you feel a bit overwhelmed with the decorations, but it's definitely worth it.

Went for a dinner with a business colleague. Lots of men at the bar trying to impress each other. Our main waitress was a high point because she was personable and helpful - Zarrin (farsi meaning golden). The steak was well prepared, and the wine list is extensive. If you are looking for a business dinner for two (that can... More

The steaks are some of the best you will enjoy anywhere and the service is impeccable. But the prices are simply excessive - $25 for ONE crab cake, $70 for prime rib, $18 for a piece of pie. I've eaten in many excellent restaurants and have no issue with paying up for quality. But after a point, paying "stupid money"... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go.
