The menu has a decent enough variety but the type on the menu goes in different directions and while it might look avant garde it is difficult to read. The service was very good, our waiter was very attentive and friendly. We ordered burgers, one Great One and one $5 Friday special with sweet potato fries. The food was very... More

Visiting my son and this was his choice. Only had a brunch menu available since it was about 2pm when we arrived, but there was enough of a variety for all of us. I had the fish tacos which were good, but not enough fish. The blt was awesome, as was the burger. Not a fan of the margarita pizza... More

the staff and service was excellent and that where it stopped. Four of us and two of us had the beef short ribs-dried and ok, the other two had the chicken with waffles, Kentucky fried chicken is even better. barely any meat to the bone and extremely dried. Left with a very unsatisfied disappointed meal. Spent 122.00 and kfc would... More

Stopped in after the Second City show. The service was good and the servers were attentive. The food wasn't very good. Especially if you are looking for gluten-free options. It was a good place to hang out and have a couple cocktails

We took the advantage of the package of having dinner at Gretzky's along with attending Second City Theater. There was a selection of five entrees and two starters on a fixed menu and price. The selection was very good. The meals were well prepared and presented, at a very reasonable price. Each of our party, of four, ordered a different... More

Wanted to try Wayne's Restaurant with a bunch of friends. There was a big party of us on a Sunday but we were on vacation and wanting to have dinner, watch sports and have a few too many drinks. Right when we were done our meals, the server offered our bills even though we wanted to order more. This is... More

We visited Gretzky's before a concert. We had Grandma Gretzky's pierogies for an appetizer and they were really good. My husband had the ribs and I had a rice bowl. Both were decent. The Gretzky's Riesling was very good as well. The service seemed a bit rushed. She was helpful, but seemed like she wanted to be somewhere elses.

We don't have much good to say about our dinner here. The staff was unfriendly and seemed to be in a rush, the food was simply not good (not hot, overcooked, etc), and tables felt too close together. We were debating between Gretzkys and Wahlburgers across the road, and made the wrong decision. Would not recommend.

Stopped in to watch some playoff baseball and was surprised to see such a good sports vibe. The staff was friendly and helpful and there was a good menu selection of food and drinks.

Description
Playing host to Wayne's personal collection of memorabilia, Wayne Gretzky's Toronto is in fact three places in one. The upscale dining room has a unique décor which highlights Wayne's greatest moments, where our guests can enjoy great food and great, friendly service. The winning sports bar boasts over 20 HDTV's showing all sports, all the time. The fabulous Oasis Rooftop Patio is as individual as the restaurant, and welcomes guests to relax under the sun and stars from May to October. We are only a block and a half north of the Dome, so we are the perfect spot before, during or after the game!

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
