Good option if you're going to Panasonic Theatre for show. Lots of selection on the menu. Portions are a decent size and they offer gluten free pizza and pasta options. Goat cheese and beet salad was a light, refreshing salad. Seafood risotto had ample amount of seafood. Veal lemon thyme was flavourful although veal was slightly overcooked. Steamed vegetables on... I was recommended this restaurant by several people so my boyfriend and I decided to finally go. We were greeted pleasantly and seated right away. Everything was fine up until the point when we ordered. Our waiter took our order (we each ordered one lunch item off the menu), and then asked us if we wanted anything to drink besides... More

Terrific meal! Tenderest chicken ever! Loved the Sangria and the chocolate mousse for desert. Just a wonderful meal.

A friend and I went on a Wednesday evening (Feb. 1) before heading to the theatre. We ordered off of the Winterlicious menu. Our server was very friendly and stopped by often to see how we were doing. The food was served quickly (well spaced) and the entre was very hot. The steak was cooked perfectly. We really enjoyed our... More

Great visit! Had 2 kids who are 4 and 11 who enjoyed splitting a cannelloni dinner. My husband and I shared the seafood risotto and 10 oz ribeye. Both were delicious and big portions. Wine was a good value and chocolate mousse was tasty. Some guests, our server and the owner helped us find our daughters toy she had dropped... More

Decided to try this restaurant for Winterlicious and we weren't disappointed. We arrived about 15 minutes early for our reservations and were lucky enough to get seated earlier than our reservation, despite the packed house on a Saturday night at 7pm! The owner was the Maitre d', was great to see him so involved in ensuring everyone was having a... More

Went for Winterlicious with a group of 4 and was a bit disappointed. We had a reservation yet had to wait 15 minutes before being seated and when we were seated it was next to a giant group of about 20 people. Incredibly loud and very close space which didn't make conversation very easy. The food was okay, I had... More

Great food and excellent service. The waiter was very professional and pleasant. The owner took the time to chat with everyone adult and kids. Spoke fluent french & English. And then played the piano. Pizza, soup and pasta was EXCELLENT!!!!!! The price was more then reasonable. Great place for after work drinks or family souper.

Thank Pascal M

Family owned Italian/Continental fusion restaurant. We have been a staple in the Yonge and Wellesley community for the past 13 years. Just recently we underwent a major renovation courtesy of the TV show Restaurant Takover on the Food Network. Ambiance is elegant and classy without being pretentious or stuck up. Our exceptionally-trained staff provide our guests with fast and efficient service while ensuring they feel relaxed and comfortable, never rushed. But most importantly, they make sure our guests feel welcome in our home.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
