The entire evening was a delight. We started with drinks in the bar. Service is outstanding. Moved to the dining room to a table with a view of the sunset! Just awesome. We had the tasting menu...OMG! Such flavours and pairings. Unbelievable. The Halibut was the most incredible dish I have ever eaten. I ate tongue for the first time,... More

Stunning views and a great cozy atmosphere. The food is top notch. Definitely worth the money and splurging on such a good meal. Best suited for couples, young professionals or a small group of adults.

Poised on the 54th floor - express elevator service up. A bit swanky with more than a few patrons in suits and ties. The service was excellent and the food matched. The bar is a gem with a great view and great cocktails. We watched the evening darken from the great vantage point up there, and had a really wonderful... More

Had dinner here the other night with a colleague and enjoyed a fabulous meal. The bar has always been a highlight but the renovation has made it even more cool inside on top of the amazing views. Food was impeccable. Enjoyed a duck egg ravioli appetizer and the lamb main, and I was ready to lick the plate clean both... More

This is a phenomenal restaurant. To start with it has one of the most spectacular views of Toronto whether by day or at night. Secondly the staff our perfectly attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. Just the right amount of attention but not intrusive. Thirdly and of course most importantly the food is of the highest quality prepared in exactly the correct... More

Gorgeous restaurant on the 54th floor of the TD Bank Tower, offers amazing views of the city. The restaurant has an extensive and interesting wine line. Hard to choose meal as everything on the menu sounds delicious. The Ontario tenderloin beef tartare is a great appetizer, great and tasty and presented in a lovely and pretty way. The pork main... We went prior to attending one of the many shows in Downtown Toronto. Staff was attentive and very knowledgable about the food. They made sure all the questions were answered. The food was fantastic and had us in a great mood for the show

I love Canoe, been there dozens of times over the years. Will (sommelier) unfortunately has moved on, but was always great to chat about wines. The view is the best in the city - ask for a table with a window view. I love that they remember what table you like, their service is impeccable and they are well known... More

On a perfectly clear evening we could see the lights of Niagara twinkling in the distance across Lake Ontario; closer to hand we enjoyed the planes taking off and landing at Billy Bishop Airport on the Toronto Islands. Such are the pleasures of dining on the 54th floor. But far from the only ones: The food is stunningly good, confident,... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
