Dishes were greasy and overly salty, great at 4am after a night out, but not for a proper dinner. Size and quality of ingredients is good, but the prep is not overly appetizing. The lack of Asian diners is indicative of the quality of the cuisine. Service was spotty. Would not return again. New Sky across the street is literally... More

The restaurant is "poor" the approximate service, but the food is excellent. A great choice and a good quality. The most reasonable prices for Toronto. It Has Been years since I left satisfied by a Chinese restaurant. If you are in downtown is worth a trip. In addition also you are in the only part old-fashioned of this megalopolis...

Cheap and cheerful, lots of choice, large portions and fast if rather indifferent service. Food tasted ok but a bit artificial. Would have been nice if they'd advised on portion sizes. Overall ok but there are probably better places to go in Toronto's Chinatown.

I ordered a Singapore Vermicelli (N2) from the late night menu on Saturday, Sept 10th @ 12:36am. When I got home I had some and it tasted off, like there was something burnt in it. The next day I reheated some and bit into something firm and it exuded a strong taste of burnt tobacco. I spit it out and... More

Not only is this the worst Chinese Food Ever, It is very close to the worst food that I have ever consumed on this planet. It took over 1 hour for this food to be delivered to my hotel. I ordered the Sweet and Sour Pork, Chicken Chow Main, Beef and Broccoli and Deep Fried Won Tons. All of it... More

The food was good. The food was served efficiently and the servers were not rude but they seem like they hate what they are doing. Its hard to tell whether they hate their job, their boss, their customers or maybe even their life. Some suggestions; Instead of grunting and pointing to a seat. It might be better if you said... Dreadful service, poor quality food, rude staff! as my dad said Basil Fawlty has nothing on this place! Don't be fooled by the nice interior design and it being busy! The staff not once smiled at us and slammed down the menus and the food! the portion sizes where massive! we could of easily shared one main between the three... More

Customer service was ok. Bathrooms were not very clean. Place smelled slightly of chilled seafood, which didn't bother me. I ordered Szechuan beef. It was perfectly spicy for my taste and the beef was tender and tasty. Others with me ordered Kung pao chicken and it had nice flavor. No real complaints. This is a fine place to grab a... More

I got yelled at while trying to place a telephone order. I was asked repeatedly to announce my phone #. After 3-4 tries. I asked the lady to listen while i was giving out my #. Not to talk over me. She screamed and I hung up. This is about the third or fourth time that the person who answered... More

I have visited this restaurant twice in the last several months. I came the second time to verify my earlier finding s. New Ho has fallen in quality. Of the 4 dishes we ordered 2 were decent and 2 were horrible. The Cantonese chow mein us usually delicious, it was tasteless as was one other dish.
