Brilliant small location, with a patio. Food and service were also amazing. Can't wait to go again! I was so unbelievably happy with the food, it tasted so good!

I am no Toronto native, but my cousin is and I demand that she brings me here every time I visit her. I've only gotten burgers and poutine, but everything else looks amazing too.

A cute authentic bar and grill. Not extremely busy so it made for a peaceful lunch. A lot of vegetarian options available and the food was made to perfection. Service could have done with a little improvement in terms of server politeness, but i definitely plan to make many more visits for the food.

As a family we loved utopia hamburger used to be our favourite in town, but the last two visits the quality had plummeted , burger meat was too hard to chew ( old and reheated) fries were black, very slow service and inattentive waitress. The surprising part we got charged $ 2 for extra mayonnaise!!!. We are definitely boycotting it.

I used to be a regular customer to this place and the reason i liked it so much: you knew what to expect when going there. Not that the food was mindblowing per se but you had the comfort of knowing what you were getting and it always tasted the same. I went back there on a saturday. To my... More

Very good selection of brunch options in a very bright back room. Generous portions. Really liked the Americano.

Had a fantastic cheeseburger a few weeks ago. Had a craving that was fulfilled. Just walked by and took a chance. Went back again. Polite down to earth staff. Cozy and friendly place.

We ate three lunches here in the back covered in patio area. Two of three lunches were fantastic (steak panini special, crab cakes). One was mediocre. Service was friendly. Lowered music when asked all three times without question. Casual atmosphere. Good value.

We sat up the patio in the back of the restaurant. It was a nice place for lunch. We ordered… Jalapeno Tomato Soup…$5.00 Chicken Quesadilla…13.00 Steak Sandwich…$10.00 Total with tax 31.84 All food items came quickly and were served hot. I would have enjoyed some bread with the soup but it was very good all the same. The steak sandwich... More

Great for both take out and dine in, Utopia is consistently good, vegan friendly, and takes far too much of our household's money. Can't go wrong with the burritos.

Staying in Little Italy

Neighbourhood Profile
Little Italy
Toronto's Little Italy is a city hotspot for cafe culture and nightlife. There's something for everyone in Little Italy, apparent from the cross-section of clubbers in glitzy dresses, and elderly couples arm-in-arm heading to their favorite wine or pasta spot. Cafes spill onto the wide sidewalks, pool lounges and bars are always teeming with noise and activity, and both outdoor and indoor marketplaces are packed with fresh fish, cured meats, and pungent cheeses. All of the activity makes it a perfect spot for people-watching, especially over a nice glass of red wine or a quick and sumptuous slice of pizza at one of the many eateries or trattorias in the area.
