Large menu. Good coffee with refil carafe on the table. Quick, efficient and very friendly service. I had the montreal smoked hash breakfast. Good size portion and it looked good but it was somewhat bland. Needs way more seasoning. Overall a very good simple breakfast experience. Will be back to try other menu options.

Had to wait a bit for a table, but the food was good. Seemed to be the place to have breakfast. Service was good.

Heard about this restaurant for a while now - friends of mine have given their thumbs up. Stopped by for a brunch after going to the Bata Shoe Museum. We were seated immediately (2 pax) but there was a family of 5 who waited for 30 min before they were seated. Wait staff is quite attentive to our needs -... More

Went there on New Years Day for brunch with two other family members. It was very busy, to be expected on New Years Day, so we had to wait awhile. Food was good, but not great for the price range. Given how busy it was, service was not too bad. A very wide range of choices for breakfast and lunch.... More

We were looking for a spot to have breakfast on the walk between our hotel and the ROM. Our criteria was not extensive- eggs, toast, hot coffee. They certainly have an extensive breakfast menu and they kept the coffee coming. It was a good breakfast but nothing outstanding and a bit on the pricey side for what we got.

Our family had a nice breakfast here. We arrived at 9:30 and although it was very busy, we got our food quickly. We left shortly after 10. There are many options on the menu. All of our food was good. Staff were friendly.

Not for genuine food lovers - the food is good, not great, and if service is slow (as it was on our second of two visits) your meals might be waiting under heat lamps for over 10 minutes (which can be seen at the back of the restaurant) like ours did. This makes for soggy french fries and dried spinach... More

Unfortunately, a late lunch does get you a table without waiting, but the food is second rate. The smoothies weren't thick and delicious, but thin and bland. The Huevos Rancheros was nothing special; the eggs-in-a-hole was nothing special; and the Benny was less than great. The french fries are delicious, as are the home fries, and the tuna melt was... We have been here many times over the past few years with family and have always been more than pleased with service and food. These folks are the real deal when it comes to eggs, in any form you like.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
