Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and I am fussy as to where I eat out. Over Easy is one of my favorite chain restaurants, My choice usually ends up being the simple 2 egg dish, without bacon or sausage but with hash browns and toast. I have enjoyed many of the fancier egg benedict type dishes, all... More

Over Easy is one of my favourite little breakfast places in Toronto. I often come to TO and stay at the Park Hyatt. I look forward to my visits to this great little breakfast places. I usually order the vegetarian skillet. The freshly squeezed juice is wonderful as well. The service is usually fast and good. I think the servers... More

The food is fresh, helpings generous, and pricing reasonable for the neighborhood. Service is quick and discreet. If you're from UofT, you'll surely see someone you know.

Large menu. Good coffee with refil carafe on the table. Quick, efficient and very friendly service. I had the montreal smoked hash breakfast. Good size portion and it looked good but it was somewhat bland. Needs way more seasoning. Overall a very good simple breakfast experience. Will be back to try other menu options.

Had to wait a bit for a table, but the food was good. Seemed to be the place to have breakfast. Service was good.

Heard about this restaurant for a while now - friends of mine have given their thumbs up. Stopped by for a brunch after going to the Bata Shoe Museum. We were seated immediately (2 pax) but there was a family of 5 who waited for 30 min before they were seated. Wait staff is quite attentive to our needs -... More

Went there on New Years Day for brunch with two other family members. It was very busy, to be expected on New Years Day, so we had to wait awhile. Food was good, but not great for the price range. Given how busy it was, service was not too bad. A very wide range of choices for breakfast and lunch.... More

We were looking for a spot to have breakfast on the walk between our hotel and the ROM. Our criteria was not extensive- eggs, toast, hot coffee. They certainly have an extensive breakfast menu and they kept the coffee coming. It was a good breakfast but nothing outstanding and a bit on the pricey side for what we got.

Our family had a nice breakfast here. We arrived at 9:30 and although it was very busy, we got our food quickly. We left shortly after 10. There are many options on the menu. All of our food was good. Staff were friendly.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
