We have been here many times over the past few years with family and have always been more than pleased with service and food. These folks are the real deal when it comes to eggs, in any form you like.

Whether you like a traditional breakfast or healthier choices, Over Easy can accommodate you. Always busy, but given the rapid service and the fact that most customers have somewhere else to be, there's never a wait for a table. I ate solo on two occasions and once with friends. The service was exactly the same - fast and professional.

Very pleasant staff. Went for 4 breakfasts on our first stay in Toronto. It was great. Spot on,really good choice and good standard of food. Very handy for us,as stayed in a Hotel nearby. Reasonable prices. Came back for lunch when we returned for 1 night before coming home. Again, really good. Certainly recommend.

Stopped here for a tasty Brunch. It was very busy but we didn't have to wait long to be seated. Service was good and food was good.

Came here for brunch. It was quite crowded but waiting times were ok. Our waitress did not live to the fame of this place, not because of hospitality itself, but because our waiting for the food was quite long (and come on, it's breakfast!). Food was good, not espectacular, but it is what you expect for brunch. I am willing... More

We planned a day at the museum, so this was the perfect spot for breakfast. The selection of breakfast dishes is extensive as one may gather from the name. We had a skillet and also the vegetarian scramble. Both were very tasty, served piping hot, and good portion size. The latte was also very good. It's not a high end... More

While this isn't a fancy restaurant and was very busy when I visited, the food was good and filling. I ate "Eggs in a hole" which stuck with me until dinner time. Considering how may people were there, service was relatively quick

Prices are far better here than at the hotels, and the food is hot, fresh and good! We had eggs benny, it was a huge portion and really tasty! Simple bacon and eggs way cheaper here only two doors down from Intercontinental hotel, good service

Over easy has a diverse breakfast menu, and given its location in the Yorkville area, the prices seem relatively reasonable. I did find the juices to be overly expensive. Our meals were very well prepared and substantial. The 2 egg breakfast included 3 sausages, a good portion of home fries and 2 thick slices of lightly toasted bread (almost perfect).... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
