My husband and I went there for his birthday. The decor is absolutely beautiful and we were greeted by the very lovely and gracious owner herself, Rita, and let her know that she should be very proud of her chefs because the food is sublime. Danny our waiter was very sweet and on top of everything and I cannot get... More

I went to Spring Rolls with my sister and a friend for dinner and we opted for the all you can eat option which is about $28 plus tax. The options are unlimited, there was so much to choose from both my meat eating friend and for my sister and I who were after some delicious vegan options. The service... More

My partner & I have always had great service, excellent food, and left feeling so full. I love their seafood or salmon pad thai. My partner had the New Zealand lamb dish which she enjoyed immensely. I also like their calamari appetizer. They used to have Sapporo on tap for a special price but the last time I was there:... More

Lots of savoury dishes to choose from. Great place to stopover before boarding the Greyhound bus. The mango salad is good and the shrimps with coconut is excellent. Only setback is the slow service.

I had visited this restaurant on some of my previous visits but never alone. I was seated in an area where there were only one another table of guests. There was another area that looked more lively and busy. I waited 10 minutes to get acknowledged and gave up and walked out. Unacceptable....I complained on my way out and the... More

The worst sushi I ever had. Looks like they were made by amateur. Lots of rice and very small pieces of fish. Sashimi was a smalest I ever had, peaces no biger then 1/2'×1/2'. Serice very slow. We got sushi plate with no wassabi, ginger and soy sous plates. Drinks we got later then food as well, and its was... More

If you have never had Thai food before you might enjoy the soya sauce drenched noodles, There was so much sauce that it was hard to tell if the meat was chicken or beef. If you enjoy Thai food then this is not the restaurant for you, I will admit that it is unique and I have never tasted anything... More

Service was exemplary as the male server made sure that our tea and water glasses were full and that we had everything we needed. The food arrived promptly and was delicious! The Sushi and Sashimi Combo for 1 that I got was a perfect portion for me. The sashimi and sushi were fresh and I was impressed since Spring Rolls... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
