I had the "made on site chicken pot pie" and was very good, with a good side portion of a salad. My guest had the triple deck sandwich and with tip $44 as we had only water for drinks. I will be back for sure when I have business in the area.

Perhaps not a real Irish pub, but it was a warm welcoming spot for a pleasant lunch on a cold Friday. We were seated in the "atrium" near the fireplace. Lots of wondows, loads of light, all in all it was a nice venue. Our server was attentive without being obtrusive. Food was very good - great chicken soup and... More

Very glad we went. Busy spot but we got seated right away. There for beers and appies after a Marlies win at nearby Ricoh Centre and to see the rest of the Leaf game on TV. Each app was tasty and beer selection was broad.

Many pubs and restaurants are knockoffs of others. But each can still establish its own personality. No such luck at the Brazen Head. On my second visit (one time bustling, one time quiet) I came to the same conclusion as the first. There is nothing Irish, and very little pub-like about it. It is a bland, chain-style out-of-a-box fast casual... More

If you are looking for a place to hang out pre and post a TFC game, you can't miss places in Liberty Village. The crowd, noise, and plenty alCOOL makes Brazen Head quite a place to be. I've eaten here on a previous night out and was not impressed with the food - maybe an off night. Choose your food... More

Seriously. This place serves, quite possibly, the most disgusting brunch in all of Toronto. I'd rather have breakfast at Tim Hortons. (How badly can you screw up eggs and bacon. Very badly.) Everything was burnt. The service abysmal. Choices were limited. And the price was twice what it should have been. If you go, order a double Caesar instead of... More

We went for brunch and 3 of the 4 of us ordered the Breakfast Sizzler - not sure that's the name but a dish with egg, bacon, tatertots, and corned beef. It was really yummy and plenty to eat, although one section of mine tasted like something was slightly spoiled or 'off'. Price is reasonable. Wait staff are generally good... More

I was so looking forward to brunch here over the long Labour Day weekend. I had friends visiting from the East Coast and I recommended that we head here based on prior experiences. Big mistake. They have revamped their menu, again, and it's not for the better. I love eggs Bennie. That's why I go to brunch. I also don't... More

Horrible service. Ordered drinks then waited for 20 minutes for the server to say "oh do you want food?", no we only had our menus down waiting for 18 of the 20 minutes. Then after our orders were taken it took over an hour to get the food that was freezing cold. The server didn't bring any condiments even after... More

I've been to this pub 4x now all prior to concerts at the Molson Amphitheater, as it's close to the GO station @ Exhibition. Good atmosphere, servers have always been friendly and polite. Service speed & meal delivery varies but when slower it's obvious it's due to it being crowded. I must admit I do find their menu limited &... More

Known as the Art & Design District, West Queen West is one of the most energetic and dynamic of Toronto's neighborhoods. Along with its great modernist museums, clubs, and restaurants, it's home to some of the funkiest specialty shops, ranging from clothing to stationary to collectables, and caters to niche and vintage shoppers of all kinds. That makes it a mecca for creatives, including hobbyists designers, writers, and painters. With ink on their hands and fabric pelts in their bags, visitors to Queen Street traverse the avant-garde blend of historic architecture and ultra-contemporary fare. Home to some of Toronto's chicest hotels and most modish java fixes, busy with street cars, and always suffused with live music drifting onto packed patios at bars and clubs by nightfall, the vibrancy of West Queen West is undeniable.
