Came with three big guys plus myself and we ordered a lot. We ordered the love boat, 5 rolls and a lot of apps. From what I remember, the agedashi tofu and crunchy roll were the best. Everything else was ok. Service was pretty good. The bill came out to $300 but we probably brought 1.5 servings to go.

Mikasa at the centropolis in Laval has regular sushi options and if you're looking for something new or celebrating a special occasion the chef's specials are quite good. A little more expensive at between $16-$18 per roll but worth the try. The table favourite was the anaconda with smoked eel. The hostess was a little dismissive but the waitress made... More

Food is fresh and tasty. Place is very clean and attractive. In summer there is an outside terrace with view to a pretty fountain. A wide variety of sush, sashimi and tempura.

Great food, good service, the wait between dishes was a little bit long, but we didn't mind waiting. Friendly staff and very nice ambience. We tried few of the specials and they were very delicious. A little expensive, but it was worth it.

Saturday night, service a little erratic, one of the group waited half-hour after all others served. Food presentation perfect, lobster salad the best. Terriaki sauce a bit sweet. Varied menu and a special sushi one along with regular menu. Not too intimate, a bit loud but not overwhelming. Would most likely go back, but take a good look at the... More

Visited Mikasa on Saturday night with my wife and daughter. We've been several times before but this is my first review. In the past, the experience was not consistent. Sometimes I felt the sushi was not fresh and others it was good. This time, we stayed away from the usual Maki's and ordered more of the Specialty rolls. We were... More

My wife took me out last night (Sept. 5th) since she had been her before. Wonderfully surprised. I'm used to another famous sushi restaurant in the West-Island but this one just became my # 1. The food is perfect and the price was half of my "former" favorite West-Island restaurant. The terrace is wide and you have a good view... More

I am not a fan of commercial Centropolis, but was surprised by Mikasa's outstanding menu and presentation. Every dish looked and tasted divine and there were a lot of creative sushi options. Would def recommend

The decor is gorgeous, service is impeccable and food is always amazing! I always go back and was never disappointed! The salmon tar tar is by far the best I ever tried! Lovely terrace in the summer.
