I must get used to the lively eating scenes of the great restaurants in Montreal. The noise levels are quite high as you walk in! We were seated in a well populated space and discovered the extensive wine list and specials of the day were...More

This restaurant is very similar to Joe Beef - i.e. they are both under the same owner. Hence, the food and ambience is very similar to Joe Beef (see review). The setting is "very" casual and the restaurant is somewhat limited in seating (be forewarned:...More

Delicious food! Granted, the daily specials were written on a blackboard and we had to get up to go see it, but I personally don't see a problem with that, especially given the fact that the waitress repeated the specials with additional details. We ordered...More

So make your reservation well in advance. Everything was just ... OUTSTANDING! We ordered the lobster pasta, hangar steak, and some type of brioche desert with berry puree and sour cream flavored ice cream. If I could give it higher than 5 stars I would!

After waiting in line to get in to several places, the Liverpool House accommodated our party of three with efficient and friendly service. They didn't seem to mind that it was after 9pm. We definitely found the place to be on Rue Notre-Dame Ouest!

As the title suggests, my wife and I tried to make reservations for Joe Beef without success but were advised that we could get a table at the Liverpool house. This was our 1st time here and I had a blast. The menu was very...More

Let's be honest: we went here because we love Joe Beef and because Obama had dinner here with JT. Having said that, this restaurant delivered! We loved the food, the service, the decor/ambiance. Similar vibe to Joe Beef, but we actually thought some of the...More
