First things first – the food is very good, indeed. Although the restaurant is not trying to do typical fine dining, what they serve often deserves this description much more than Tocque, probably the best-known fine dining establishment in Montreal. There are two ways of...More

I booked Bilk based on their interesting menu; we had two nights in Montreal and the following night we visited Bonaparte. Quite a contrast but both are excellent. BB offers an ala carte menu, 5 course pri fixe or 8; the 8 course adds two...More

Perhaps the very best meal we had in three weeks of traveling across Eastern Canada. Every plate was artistically presented. It was certainly a culinary experience I will never forget. Service was a bit imperfect, but it was a very busy night. You will need...More

We visited Bouillon Bilk last night before a concert. It had been on our list to try on our last few visits to Montreal. I understand the enthusiastic reviews now. The place itself is rather inconspicuous from the sidewalk but is pleasant and simple in...More

Not high cuisine but excellent products, interesting and well balanced mixes of savors, very nice presentations. Add a nice wine list, excellent bread and coffee and an efficient and friendly service and you have a very good address. Reservation needed as the place is successful.

We had the tasting menu of 5 exquisite courses. Great tastes that varied and were season appropriate. One of our best meals ever!

This modest sized popular restaurant was recommended to us by friends. We were warmly greeted even though we were half an hour late. Evening reservations are highly recommended as the place is very popular. The main downside is that the menu is very limited with...More

We were greeted like welcome visitors to someone's home. The staff were really professional and friendly at the same time.Their recommendations worked well for us. The food was interesting and brilliantly prepared yet despite the complexity of some of the dishes the flavours came through...More

If you are looking to spend a nice evening out for dinner (or lunch), this is a great choice. Our food was delicious and the service was impeccable. Though many of the restaurants in Montréal allow guest to bring their own wine (BYOW) with a...More

I don’t think they have assigned spots to guests but we found pay parking on the street both times we went there.

Hi! Sorry for the delay, just saw the question. Everyone ordered an appetizer and an entree. We were all very satisfied with the portions, and even enjoyed dessert ;)
