Pamika was the best Thai restaurant I've been to, between Toronto, Montreal and Québec. The ambiance and service are impecable. And the food is superb. I've experienced so many different flavours, so well-balanced, that I was amazed. The drinks are also an indulgence for your taste buds. Good array of vegetarian options. Definitely a gem in Montreal.

This is a small cozy restaurant with a friendly staff. The food is well prepared and carries a uniqueness with it. The menu has many gluten free choices and the staff does its best to answer related questions. The Pad Thai was excellent and so was the pork steak and spicy crab salad special. A glass of wine, a bottle... More

This is a great little restaurant that serves great food and has great service. The staff members are always so nice and are great at recommending dishes if you've never been there before. I highly suggest ordering the pineapple drink, it's so good.

I'm a Thai and I went there to have Thai dishes after a long stay overseas to miss a home menu. After reading the review here, all points were telling me to try this restaurant; good food, good ambience and good staff. I ordered one dish which I would say Kra Pao Rice was a little bit different from the... More

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere with stone walls and you can see some of the cooking going on in the kitchen. We ordered the special papaya salad with pork and it was super-good. Our child got the pad thai and it was nicely savory - sometimes pad thai is made too sweet, but not this one. The lychee candies... More

Description

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
