I travel around the world trying to find the best burger, so I was excited to try Uniburger, which is consistently voted Montreal's best burger. Ok the verdict: it's a good burger but not great. It is worth trying. It is similar to Toronto's Burgers Priest or California's In & Out Burger excerpt the meat is cooked more - in... More

Uniburger is located on Ontario street in the Plateau Mont Royal neighborhood, a 20 minute walk from downtown and a hop and skip from the trendy St. Denis street. I was curious about this place after reading glowing reviews about the excellent quality ingredients used to make the burgers, fries and shakes. I ordered a classic cheeseburger trio constructed with... More

Had the double uniburger which was amazing and I dare say it's the best I've had in Montreal . The uniburger sauce was tasty and the patty really completed it. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the fries which didn't really live up to the standard.

A burger with The Lot! Fabulous burger, fresh ingredients, special signature sauce, friendly service and OK price. What's not to like?!

I love this burger joint! It's really an all around great burger. I like the classic Uniburger and sometimes for that added boost of flavour I get bacon YUM! I never feel sick afterwards like other places I've had. The fries are made fresh daily and they have the perfect amount of crispness to them. Perfect for dunking in ketchup... More

Best burger I've had in a long time! Little hole in the wall fast food place. You'd never think of going in if someone hadn't given you a recommendation. Burgers plus great frites. Fountain drinks. Milk shakes. Poutine. That's it.

If you're looking for the most incredible burger of your life, that's your place. Simple, efficient and incredibly tasty , those burgers are the real deal. Don't forget to test their milkshakes , I had a vanilla one and it was just perfect! Will definitely come back!

Hamburgers have always been a big deal in North America but the last 5 years has seen a lot more attention to the beloved sandwich. Personally I love traveling and trying new / different burgers and so have eaten a lot! I have always been a bit sad that in my hometown of Montreal there are many "fine" a few... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
