Can't say I've had the best experience at Pied de Cochon. Was expecting an amazing service and food after all I heard, but waiter was rude and food didn't taste like anything special..

This is by far a Foodie mecca. Went on a rainy Sunday night, and the place was packed. If there are two or more going, have your concierge make a reservation. I was solo, so I got a seat at the bar, right in front of...More

Oh so good but oh so freaking heavy. Everything we sampled was amazing but my god the stuffed pigs' feet was easily the heaviest dish I've ever had. In life. This thing could've knocked out a small mammal. I think it's worth a shot to...More

Come here for all things foie gras and that really is end of the story. The restaurant is not fancy by any means, so you can definitely come casually. And don't over order because everything is so rich. For dinner for 2 girls, we shared...More

Nice bistro type restaurant with innovative cuisine. If you are hungry and interested in something new this place is not to be missed. Especially if you like foie gras.

We loved this restaurant when visiting Montreal. We ordered the fois gras poutines which were amazing followed by duck in a can. We weren't overly hungry so this was perfect. The food was rich and delicious. They also give you complimentary bread and butter. For...More

My husband and I had dinner at de Cochon...He had the Rabbit Meatloaf and I had the roasted veal. The dinner was delicious, the service super-attentive. We look forward to dining here again!

A bite from our full experience review - "Our waiter came with a small mezzaluna and cut up the pizza swiftly in front of us making for a great presentation. The portion was not too big, but very succulent. We felt an explosion of taste...More

It depends on the day and time but it should generally be at least 4-5 weeks in advance. We chose a Thursday and thought we would be okay if we reserved for 2 people 2 weeks in advance but we could only get bar seats.

I didn't check the menu, but they had a Parmesan risotto. Don't believe that has gluten. I don't know if they put a thickener in the "duck in a can", but they could tell you. E found them to be knowledgeable , friendly and... More

What is the attire like for guests? Is it ok to wear jeans here or is it more of a formal restaurant? I can't tell from the website. Thank you.
