We were here when they had a special 3 course menu and neither of us were terribly hungry so the nice waiter suggested that we just share the 3 courses which worked out just right. He also recommended an excellent Canadian chardonnay which we thoroughly...More

We ate here before and it was so good that we decided to celebrate a special birthday at Verses. They accommodated us in every way and of course the food and service were first rate. Kudos to Kelly for making the event so perfect.

For $19, you get a choice of appetizer and main. Both were generous portions. There were 2 pieces of fish in my bouillabaisse style main course! Bread is delicious. Service was good. The restaurant is fancy and stylish. Great value for lunch in Old Montreal!

Had a great dinner here. Walked in and found a table in the evening. Had scallops tartare and grouper. Excellent with a French Chardonnay. Server had sommelier experience and steered us right.

We found Verses Bistro by accident & had a lovely meal. Service was very good and our food was delicious. We loved the Eggplant soup and our salmon Benedict. The salmon & perfectly poached eggs topped off a homemade waffle - yummy

Dined here in the evening recently with family. What a huge disappointment. Do not be taken in by photos on their website of sumptuous dishes of delicious food. When the food finally I arrived I truly wondered whether we had inadvertently ordered child portions. I...More
