Mexican in Montreal? Yes, we found this!!! Service was excellent, by the owner himself providing his recommendations. The food was good and pretty much authentic. Dont be mistaken by its exterior and the ongoing road works around this place. The interior is certainly bright and cheerful. To some extent, it brings you to the warmth of Mexico!

One thing is for sure: Good mexican restaurants are not common in this city. Perhaps because terrible places like 3 amigos seem to attract tons of people with no tastebuds. I was pleasantly surprised by La Guadalupe, since it looked kind of crappy from the outside in terms of decor and everything. The food, although slow to come, was all... More

I love this place ! Great food at a fair price. I tried the enchliadas and the beef milanos and both were excellent.

If you're planning to have a 2 hours lunch it's the place. Service is terrible and slow. But mexican food is so good that you forget the bad side of the service. A nice place to go!

it was a nice little restaurant, looked clean and all. the service was just ok. the waiters and waitresses were pretty quick and could answer all of our questions. we ordered nachos to start off, they just weren't that good, bad mix. it was pretty salty and very cheesy, kind of seemed like they put the chips on the plate... For 2 people we ordered Vegetarian Enchillada & Burrtio with salsa and dessert. The ingredients were fresh and the Enchillada & Burrito was also well made. I was very pleased with the dessert (some fruit cake) as it was not too sweet and the texture was really good. The service was friendly and quick. The restaurant is clean and decorated... More

I went to this restaurant with my girlfriend and her mother, and we were seated immediately, and were really excited about this place because we heard about the good food. We should have taken it as a hint that the service would be poor when we had to wait 10 minutes for a menu. We then ordered drinks. 20 minutes... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)
Named for the Olympic Stadium complexes built for the 1976 games, the Olympic Park and the surrounding neighbourhood of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa) make up an invigorated area dedicated to "Space for Life." Around the Olympic Village's arenas and stadiums, Rue Sherbrooke welcomes exploration of its sculpture gardens decorated in the works of Jean-Paul Riopelle and its museum culture headed by the historical Château Dufresne. Maisonneuve Park offers interactive experiences at its bio-dome, insectarium, planetarium, and botanical gardens. For a change of scene, the gentrified space along Rue Ontario Est is packed with the city's newest, edgiest cafes, where an imaginative, youthful crowd sips foamy cappuccinos. A visit here is incomplete without stepping into the vast halls of the Maisonneuve Market, with flower stalls, wine depots, and local produce.
