Great food and great service and great wine list. What more can you add? A bit on the pricey side but well worth it.

The place is cozy, the service is amazing, the food is out of this world and the wine selection was one of the biggest I've seen in a restaurant so far. We'll be back!

Still remembering the flavors and experience after a month! Risotto entree and tuna tartar....to die for! Book early, place is small and packed. The meat is awesome! Kudos to the Chef!

One of the best meals we have ever eaten! A bit hard to find as there is very little signage on the outside. When you walk in its like you're entering an old cigar type lounge. The food was incredible! The scallops for an appetizer was the best I have ever had. I had the duck which was amazing and... More

This place is just incredible. Very attentive service and the ambiance is just wow, very cozy. Foie gras as a starter, Kobe beef and lobster as main course and the maple dessert was to die for.

Great food and excellent service. The boar loin was great. It's the little details that make the difference. We will definitely go back.

Staying in Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)

Neighbourhood Profile
Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)
The historic centre of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to some of the city's most antiquated buildings and picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St. Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums, festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a celebrated part of the city that explodes into fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its centre, street performers and artists compete with sprawling restaurant terraces for space along Jacques-Cartier Square, while the cobbled streets of Rue St. Paul and Rue Notre-Dame offer a reprieve of quiet galleries and atmospheric wine bars. Horse-drawn carriages are not an uncommon part of traffic, and the narrows they traverse are lined with boutiques, crêperies, and poutine shops enshrined in buildings of stone and wooden lattices. Here you can evoke Montreal's past with a traditional cooking lesson or historical tour, then enjoy its artistic present with live music and theatre.
