Lovely friendly staff, an old- fashioned restaurant which is run by a Greek family. The service is speedy and the portions very generous. The menu shows photos of the dishes, and is pretty extensive. We were exhausted by travel and settled into the comfort of the easy atmosphere. Would recommend.

We were sent to this local restaurant by the hotel owner where we stayed. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food at this place. Excellent efficient service, very friendly, family-like atmosphere, special attention by the multilingual owner. The restaurant looks like your local outdated diner, but the food was very good. The portions are very generous, whereas the... More

This is a "local" restaurant the atmosphere of which I'd characterize as "diner-like". The employees have obviously been there for a long time, know each other, are relaxed and friendly. "Family-like" is another term I'd use. I've been there twice, and each time was the same. They are most comfortable in French, but even the non bilingual staff understand English... More

I hesitated a bit before writing this review because I doubt that anyone would make a detour just to have supper at Bercy. Your typical Quebecois diner, it is located inside a small mall, right next to an IGA and just below an apartment building that hosts A LOT of old folks with tiny dogs. You see where I'm going?... Staying in Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)

Neighbourhood Profile
Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)
Named for the Olympic Stadium complexes built for the 1976 games, the Olympic Park and the surrounding neighbourhood of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa) make up an invigorated area dedicated to "Space for Life." Around the Olympic Village's arenas and stadiums, Rue Sherbrooke welcomes exploration of its sculpture gardens decorated in the works of Jean-Paul Riopelle and its museum culture headed by the historical Château Dufresne. Maisonneuve Park offers interactive experiences at its bio-dome, insectarium, planetarium, and botanical gardens. For a change of scene, the gentrified space along Rue Ontario Est is packed with the city's newest, edgiest cafes, where an imaginative, youthful crowd sips foamy cappuccinos. A visit here is incomplete without stepping into the vast halls of the Maisonneuve Market, with flower stalls, wine depots, and local produce.
