Best hot chocolate ever. The accordion player added much charm to a bustling place and tasty experience. Can see why it's so highly recommended.

Pillared came highly recommended by some locals and it lived up to its reputation. We rarely repeat restaurants while traveling in a city but we ate breakfast here twice. The baked goods are made on site and are so fresh and wonderful that we overate each time because all of us wanted to try so many different pastries. All of... More

My wife made me go by here a few times while we were in Quebec. She loved the breads from this location. It was rather busy, so I am sure locals do as well.

This place was recommended to us by the couple sitting next to us the day before at lunch. Picked up some goodies and coffee to begin the day. I had the cherry tart. It was flakey and delicious. Not too sweet and lightly sugared. So good. DH had a breakfast croissant with ham. Said it was very good. The hollandaise... More

A well run restaurant and bakery. Everyone comes here, young and old, locals and tourists. They make wonderful pastries traditional and innovative. You can craft sandwiches from their menu, and the coffee and hot chocolate!! Marvelous. Cheerful staff, bilingual of course, and very efficient. Seats about 100 and the line is constant but worth it. I miss the baguettes already.

This was pointed out to me on a tour and went back the next day to try. Early Saturday morning and was packed with locals and tourist alike. Ordered the almond pastry which was wonderful. Didn't have enough time to try it dining in and ordering a variety.

Everything here is so wonderful. Sinfully delicious, really. Staff is friendly. Community seating style. Live entertainment too. We went every day while we were in town. Bon Appetite!
