Tried the Crab Cakes as an appetizer before the steak. The big problem here is that they cut corners. They grill the cakes instead of frying them which misses the crisp richness of frying them. They end up having a leathery skin. Steak was good and typical of this ilk of restaurant.

After so many disappointing experiences at other Baton Rouge restaurants, I decided to give this one a try. The service was very good, however the food was once again disappointing. The spinach dip tasted almost citrusy which was bizarre. My rib steak looked delicious but it was very fatty and more rare than medium rare as I had ordered. I... More

Usually we love this restaurant. Tonight 2 of the 3 rib plates were overcooked. My steak was good though. Music was good service wasn't bad.

I've been to this Baton Rouge a good 15 times over the years. It's always enjoyable, and always exceeds other Baton Rouge steakhouses in the Montreal region in quality. If you like steakhouses, this one is pretty much a safe bet, perfect cooking every time, plus great service. Contrarily to other Baton Rouge's where they feel that "good service" is... More

When there in Saturday night with family. They don't take reservations in evening of Saturday. The waiting time is 20 minutes. So we went there and waited for 15 minuets. It is full but not crowded. Food is good. Very warm inside. Service is always nice. 20 oz rib steak is quite a lot for one person. It can shared... More

I have found the Baton Rouge delivers a fairly steady product no matter where I go to them. The steak is very good. Not cheap but good. A big rib eye is about $36. A 20oz import draft is $10. But with that being said I enjoyed my meal a great deal. Service was truly amazing from the three staff... More

This should be a 3.5 review, not just three. This is a basic Baton Rouge place. The good: Customer service seems to be important here. We got good service from the entrance to the table, and by the waitress. Waitress was always smiling. The bad: Waitress also has a drenched sweat shirt. Food was ordinary. Not exceptional. Waitress had to... More

Mother and I had a quick lunch. One soup and one shrimp scampi and two house white wine. Expensive! $45! Ridiculous. Neither dish was good. Nice server and A nice cosy decor must say. It would have a wonderful ambiance at night.

Pleasant, quiet steakhouse with cozy banquettes. Good steakhouse fare at moderate prices. Family friendly, conveniently located. Courteous staff, good drinks. Very good restaurant, for a chain. We've been going for lunches and dinners for years. Copious amounts; you might prefer to order from the starters menu if you aren't extremely hungry.

Thank Unbe K
