Highly recommended by the concierge at our hotel & we could see why. My wife enjoyed the venison special & I loved the fish soup. I had the appetizer, Wild Boar Rillette - awesome. Good wine list & great service. You'll need reservations.

Went there because of the reviews, very disappointed. Worse meal we had during our trip. Went at lunch time for a late lunch, the place was empty inside, so there was no excuse for the slow, inattentive service. We had to ask the waiter 3...More

Many of the better restaurants in Québec City are housed in or adjacent to a hotel. Tournebroche is for all practical purposes the restaurant of the Hôtel du Vieux Québec. The room is sophisticated casual and there is an outdoor patio on Rue St. Jean...More

We had the warm yellow beets salad as appetizer and it was incredible! Then, my (vegetarian) friend had the risotto and I had a piece of meat, also with risotto. Everything was delicious and the plates were so beautifully arranged. Very friendly and competent service,...More

We were a group of 5 ladies, great food, 2 bottles of wine and a lot of laughs were had. We ordered the risotto, seafood chowder (sorry the pic is blurry), Shepard pie, duck and chicken festin. All good. Limited critiques from the table.

This is a gem. The food is high quality and combined nicely. They have a rooftop garden complete with beehives. Many of their dishes feature their own bounty. The menu also seems to favour local and organic sources. Nourishing and tasty.

Very, very good. I'd say 4-star (close to 4.5 star). I went off the Prix Fix menu. For CAD$42 - I got celery root soup, Filet mignon 6 oz, and a white chocolate mouse and coffee. I really enjoyed it. And recommend it over the...More

Not having a car in Quebec isn't a big deal. You can always get a cab or Uber. I wouldn't say this is a romantic place, but the food is absolutely great! Excellent wine and excellent service. And it didn't cost a fortune... More

Sophisticated bistro atmosphere. I would suggest casual chic to festive attire.

Gourmet bistro cuisine with an relaxed but refined ambiance. 5 Diamond Chef Stephane Roth insists on very fresh , locally sourced ingredients in his menu. Signature dishes include: succulent organic chicken from Charlevoix which is slightly smoked and rotisserie-cooked, smoked guinea fowl, organic pulled pork, homemade sausages and tenderloin, delicious vegetarian couscous, organic Quebec cheeses. Everything is made in-house, from the organic spelt buns to the sauces, mayonnaise, ketchup and desserts. The famous creme brulee has been written up in national papers. During the summer and harvest seasons, vegetables and herbs grown of the restaurant and hotel's roofs are used in the restaurant's dishes.
