We have been there several times, and that's the best place for those who have not yet tried sushi!!! this will becomes their favorite. The place is really nice and the decorations and services are in harmony with the food. Don't forget to bring your wine ;) we are two and we like the chef choice in the menu, since... More

Restaurant looks promising. Menu has no English. It is a Japanese restaurant. Servers tried to explain. I ordered beef nabe. Came in a pot and soup was not warm enough. Few pieces of beef. Taste was poor. Sushi rice was cold rice. Ika sushi was tough. Sushi rice suppose to be body temperature. This one tastes like cold rice with... More

We had one gluten free and two others, everyone had a great meal. We had terrific service and we didn't have reservations. It did fill up quite quickly. We'd definitely recommend.

Very popular Japanese restaurant, better to book. BYO place don't carry your stuff Two doors before the restaurant there is an excellent drinks shop. Lots of different types of local beers and some wine. I believe there is a More upmarket place also in St jean street Closer to the old Town. We tried a bit of everything. Of course... More

Really enjoyed ourselves. Great atmosphere; great staff; great food! Not the best sushi we have ever had, but it was very good! A must if you are in QC!! Make reservations. Ask for a booth.

Nothing to write home about, good food, not great. Service follows suit. Atmosphere is ok, ask for a private room or window table.

Well located, not too pricey and they serve good sushi & Japanese cuisine. It is better a reserve in advance (especially on weekends) because it is usually crowded. Also, make sure to bring your own soy sauce if you really want to enjoy your sushi, because they serve only cooking soy sauce, which is not the best!

I leave near the Tokyo restaurant so I go at least twice a month. I have been to Japan many times and I love sushis but I prefer sashimi. Tokyo's restaurant offer so many good sashimi for such a good price. My bill never cost me more than 30$. The good thing is that you can actually bring your own... More

Many restaurants interpret sushi differently. It would seem that the more exotic rolls become, the less likely they are to be of top quality. These exotic rolls hould be considered as contemporary interprétations. Fine sushi should be simple and perfect. That is the true aesthetic of sushi. At Tokyo you seem to get both: Simple traditional sushi and contemporary offerings... More
