I discovered this restaurant by word of mouth. So my wife and I went there for lunch. The ambience was great and we were seated quickly. Our waiter appeared promptly and we had a beverage ordered before checking the menu. A very large selection, or you can enjoy the extensive buffet which we did. All the food was fresh, hot... More

I had dinner with a business colleague. I will go to a Thai restaurant any time I have a chance, but I doubt I'll give this restaurant a second chance. I love Tom Yum soup, but the Tom Yum I had was not very good, the bamboo was rock hard and beside the heat from the chili, it had very... More

We had take out food yesterday evening. Terrible food. I used to love this place. Maybe they have owner and new cooks who doesn't how to cook Thai food. We had the salad rolls just one small shrimp sliced full of lettuce and noddles no peanut sauce to go. Pad Thai was horrible not enough sauce instead of more noddles... More

I love Thai food and wanted to try a different restaurant in Saskatoon. I was greatly disappointed. The Pad Thai was greasy, skinny, tasteless noodles (see photo) and the Tasty Beef Jerky was sliced pork...not beef and not jerky. My curry was alright, but also very greasy. I understand delivery can impact the food slightly, but based on what I... More

Unlike many if not all other restaurants serving Thai food in Saskatoon, the Royal Thai specializes in Thai cuisine. The noon-hour buffets are okay, but for a real treat, order from the menu, and savour the dishes in the relaxing atmosphere of a beautofully decorated space.

Royal Thai has a great Thai lunch buffet! As others have mentioned, consistent good quality Thai buffet. Order off of the menu if you want something slightly cheaper than the $13.50 per person lunch buffet. Gets very busy at lunch so best to get there a bit before noon. Eat lunch there at least once a month and have not... More

Got stuck in Saskatoon during the snow storm October 4th and 5th. After flights cancelled went to a hotel that didn't have any meal service. Suggested to use Skip The Dishes and I ordered from Royal Thai. The food was fantastic and to have a nice hot fresh meal after a long day sitting around the airport was great. Highly... More
