Ordered food straight away. They “forgot” my order and then finally went to make the food when it arrived, it wasn’t what I ordered at all. So I never had the food I originally ordered. The cups they provided for water had mould in them...More

So I've lived in the village for years and have gone to this tea room on many occasions- I've never left a review as I feel if it's not completely positive or completely negative there's no point. However, the waitress specifically asked me to review...More

I visited the tearooms for the first time today with family members, which was a pleasant experience and we will definitely returning. The staff was welcoming, and very helpful and the food was delicious.

My partner and I visited today for an Afternoon Tea. What a treat! The variety of finger sandwiches were fresh and tasty; the large scones (choice of plain or fruit) plus ample jam and cream were great; our choice of cakes proved excellent - and...More

This place has so much potential but it is completely let down by so many points. I went on a Sunday afternoon and it was literally run by kids. No customer service skills no hospitality no nothing. Wouldn’t let us order food, said the kitchen...More

I visited here for lunch with my husband. I ordered a prawn wrap which was of pretty standard quality. I felt that the wrap was ridiculously overpriced for what I received - a wrap with a small salad garnish...not even a few crisps to pad...More

Where do we begin with this?! Having booked a table this morning and arriving 5 minutes prior to our slot, we were left for 10 minutes waiting ‘to be seated’. The tables all around us were not clear, a majority empty but with dirty plates...More

Quaint little tea room with a vintage feel. Lovely fresh food and friendly staff. Very welcoming to children too. Service was very good. Afternoon teas looked lovely and pretty reasonably priced. Will definitely return. Highly recommended!

I booked the afternoon tea for my friends birthday and after reading some of the reviews was hesitant to take her. However this tea room was such a lovely little spot. I upgraded to the vintage afternoon tea and when we arrived our table was...More

The owner needs to train staff to ensure they deal efficiently and systematically with customers. Clearly the young staff are not able to deal with the demands of a busy cafe on a Saturday. However busy a cafe is - even if it is FULL...More

In response to recent feedback from regular customers and Tripadvisor reviews I have been on hand this weekend to observe and carry out training of younger weekend staff to ensure that service standards are being met. I agree that your drinks order took far too...More

I think Christine is trying to contact the Riverside Tearoom. Christine; perhaps phone them, as maybe they're having issues with their website?
