One of our favorites in Hawkes Bay and at the last minute decided to go out with some friends. Called and were told that it was closed for a sped function but, if we promised to behave ourselves, come on over. Another wonderful meal as expected because we've never disappointed with Francky and his staff.

Fantastic service and fabulous food, great value for money and a wonderful dining experience. My confit duck was one of the better eating experiences in NZ, made more special by the attentive wait staff. Hubby's rack of lamb was great and jelly tip Popsicle dessert was divine! Hard to fault

The menu said ' pan fried hapuka, kawakawa, samphora and lyonaise potato es I said I was coeliac. So I couldn't have the duck as the jus had flour in it. ( jus shouldn't have flour in it) Ok the hapuka then. No samphora - finished. No kawakawa as that's whipped in butter with flour. So, bland fish and a... More

Had very enjoyable evening. Both main courses were joy to see and eat and we cleaned our plates in no time. Meats (lamb rack, beef fillet) were just right with locally sourced vegetables Efficient and friendly service. Would definitely recommend if in the area.

A group of 16 of us enjoyed and end-of-year function with good company, great food and good service. We were a little miffed that the manager wouldn't turn the radio down when we had a visit from a young talented opera singer join us to farewell two trustees - because they had other guests! The guests showed their appreciation.

We visited St Georges over the weekend. I had the prawns (yummy) for starters and the duck for my main (drier than anticipated). Breads and dips were enjoyed by all :)

We shared an dinner with friends at the lovely garden restaurant. The chef suggested I tried an off menu venison steak rather than the steak on offer. What a good choice! Each dish we had was presented beautifully with petals and garnish. It was a shame to eat it. A very high class restaurant in Havelock north and highly recommend.
