Great service, food amazing, sooo fresh!!! Terrace at the water. Prices are so good cant miss out! Open from 12 to 8 so you better get in not later than 12:30 if you want to eat at the terrace, and not later than 7 cause kitchen closed early

Popped in for dinner with our toddler and had such lovely and friendly service, whilst sat on the seafront edge. We had great fish and calamari, even our little girl loved her grilled fish and the cute attention from the wait staff. Good wine and reasonable prices. Would take a jacket or warm top in March in the evening, we... More

No matter when you go to this restaurant you will wait. It is one of the most popular on the island with locals...for good reason. The food is well prepared Canarian fare, nothing fancy but fresh as this restaurant serves hundreds of people every day. Also, this restaurant is exceptionally good value...one of the best on the island.

Amazing lunch, lovely place, awesome service. I was there with my husband during holidays. We live in Scotland, so we are used to fresh, beautiful fish and seafood. This place is now in our top places for this type of food. It was really well cooked, fresh, tasty. The restaurant was busy but the service was attentive, the waiting staff... More

El Almanacer had the freshest and best cooked fish we ate in our week in Lanzarote. You have to time your visit to avoid long queues - on our last day we tried to have a late lunch but with more than an hour to wait for a table just didn't have time. We had better luck earlier in the... More

Had to wait an hour for a table but well worth it. We had Pulpo a la plancha Which was amazing then then calemares a la romana... Very tasty but slightly soft batter. Amazing atmosphere. Friendly waiters and good prices. Will return when passing.

We stayed at week in Arrieta in 2012 and we're repeat visitors at El Amanacer. Five years on we were not disappointed; still a top notch family run affair that does fresh local fish and seafood simply and excellently. Yes, it is popular and you may have to queue, but it's worth it. Great service too. Highly recommended.

Staff who couldn't care less when you walked in, plastic sticky menu we should really have known better. How this here's the top rating in Arrieta is beyond me. Apart from the drinks waiter they are a sullen bunch. Started on a relative high with warmed bread, aioli and pesto. The mushrooms in garlic were nice but the Canary potatoes... More

This is the busiest restaurant in town, with both locals and tourists enjoying the fresh fish. Yes you cannot book & have to wait for a table in busy times. It is worthwhile waiting as the fish we had on our visits was great. If you do go at the end of service you take the chance that the fresh... More
