Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Popped in for lunch around 1 pm on a whim. It was not too busy when we arrived, and we were quickly seated and provided with menus. We picked a table with a nice view of the sea. We were quickly offered drinks and given...bread. We were soon asked if we were ready to order, in good time, without it feeling rushed. We ordered some canarian potatoes, avacado with tuna, and garlic king prawns. It all arrived surprisingly quickly, and was pefectly good. Not haute-cuisine, but tasty, and well prepared and presented. Once again, in good time, without it seeming over rushed we were asked if we wanted coffee or desert, but we opted for the bill, which arrived promptly and which we settled in cash. I have no idea if there were any other options. The staff were pleasant and friendly and spoke far better English than I could ever hope to speak Spanish, and seemed equally at home dealing with the other tourists who arrived soon after us. All in all it seemed a pretty professional, well run establishment, with happy friendly staff. If you are staying in, or passing through Arrieta you could do worse than give this restaurant your custom.More

We booked a table for seven for my dad‘s 80th birthday. We arrived on time, but were greeted by a very rude staff member with an aggressive attitude. We felt unwelcome and rushed to eat our meal. The food came quickly but was substandard, it...was clearly prefrozen and reheated, because of the speed it arrived. The pealla was watery and the mussels were mostly empty, or tiny and cold. Although the other food was edible the attitude of the staff was hard to stomach. Will definitely not be returning! The atmosphere ruined what should have been a celebration of a memorable day. Just rude!!!!More

We had a wonderful lunch here. My husband chose fish of the day, which was very tasty and the portion was extremely generous. I had prawns in garlic and chips. Very tasty. Charming service. The bill was just €36 for two of us, including drinks.

Fantastic little restaurant overlooking the sea. Really efficient and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The good was fresh and delicious and the beer, wine and water lovely and cold. Nice background music which created a good atmosphere. We will definitely return and the...cheesecake was amazing 😋 Thank you to all the team xMore

On arrival, surrounding area was slightly flooded from high tide. Only way in through the patio doors at the front. On entering the waitress tutted loudly waiving her finger at us and shouted to not enter in front of everyone eating in there, as we...are dirtying her floor " now look youve dirtied my floor"!. I said "but we are already in", to which she replied go around the other side of building to enter on other side, get out !!.. we entered to complain about her attitude and that we would not be staying, nor returning and that her attitude to clients not right. She didnt let us speak, just a tirade of shouting, how she was fed up with people trying to get in there, no apologies, no humility. We will never return there again, despite having enjoyed plenty of visits in the past. She talked to us with zero respect and constantly shouting .More

Poor service, cold and tasteless food, the photos do not reflect the quality we received. Had to send back twice as fries and tuna cold, then overcooked! Tables inside lovely. Outside battered and old. Just not a good experience at all!

Our first visit and the location and then the waiter brought us in to a rustic but lovely restaurant. We had the whole grilled squid and asked for a salad dish but the waiter explained that the dish came with sufficient salad. A nice touch...savings us 10 euros !! A very good lunch and all the staff were very friendly.More

We already had lunch 3 times here and every time it was very good. Good serving, nice location and amazing sea fruits. Lunch for 2 persons around 50 €, drinks included. Worth the travel to Arrieta!

Wanted to have a coffee and a dessert in the afternoon. Despite having plenty of available tables, we were kicked out with a statement that without a meal we can't enjoy a coffee.

A lovely quayside location with views across the bay! The staff were really friendly & didn’t rush us. We enjoyed a mixed starter which had just the right amount of everything on it! To follow were garlic prawns, nicely cleaned, and Zarzuela which was delicious....A glass of house white wine was just right to accompany these dishes! A lovely meal ,nice location & good value too! Thank you!More

The restaurant is in a great spot. On the sea, large windows for a view and plenty of sun. It’s a bit hectic. We waited a long time to be seen and wasn’t quite sure who to speak to for a table. Some of the...staff got quite rude with customers who asked for tables. The food was really disappointing. We order a whole local fish grilled and the food came out almost immediately and was a huge, whole, deep fried fish sigh hardly any flesh to eat. It clearly wasn’t cooked fresh given how quickly it came out. We ended up not eating it, leaving hungry and going elsewhere. So overall an expensive lunch day.More

Found this on our last rip, visited twice this time, both at lunchtimes when you have to get in early as it fills up fast with locals who know a good thing or two. Lovely staff, great food and a great outlook.

Superb seafood set menu I had tonight- seafood soup, grilled fish for the mains and creme caramel for dessert with white wine, water and bread rolls and dip. This was all for the price of 20eur only. Unbelievably tasty and quite a big serving! Best...restaurant I had in our holiday. So glad we had our dinner here for our last night in Lanzarote! Don’t be fooled how the restaurant looks like, the food is very good, great serving and very nice service. They even gave us a liqueur on the house after our dinner. I could definitely recommend this place! Will visit this again when we’re back in Lanzarote ❤️More
