Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed at this lovely Inn for a wedding nearby. Our family room was very spacious and beautifully clean and welcome. Sue was an amazing host who made us feel very warmly welcomed and at home. We had a fantastic cooked breakfast in the morning...and felt we got a lot for our money. Would highly recommend.More

A super little place. Very rural. very quiet, very homely. Sue, is a great host and her husband an even greater chef. Dinner is really home cooked food. No frozen pre bought stuff here. Breakfast? Fantastic! Cooked to order and 5* plus. This pub is...so laid back and homely. Nothing is too much trouble. Even gave us fresh milk for our in room tea & coffee. If you want a simple , quiet, relaxing overnight stay, this is the place. Well done and thank you for a very very pleasant 2 night stay.More

First time visit but had a lovely friendly experience staff were excellent friendly and polite and couldn't do enough to help for my group of 6 The pubs very clean and an old fashioned village pub which so many pubs now miss. The food was...suberb freshly cooked hot and very nicely presented and plenty off it .The steak in the pie was very tender and the shortcrust pastry was mouthwatering delicious can't complain about the food or the pub The table was ours for the eveningMore

The staff were very helpful, friendly and welcoming. We were staying in a property not too far from The Bull and decided to eat here on our first night. The food and service was excellent, the staff asked 2 or 3 times if everything was...ok making sure we were happy. We were thinking of booking for Sunday lunch, unfortunately, we didn't have the chance to eat here again due to issues with the property we had booked and had to head home the next day. I recommend the food here.More

We are not prolific reviewers but felt it was time to mention our experiences at The Bull. We have been eating an evening meal here, two or three times a year when in north Norfolk for the past three or four years. We have yet...to be disappointed ! Great menu with both traditional dishes and other cuisines. So, last night we had steak and kIdney pie and a sirlion steak, cooked to perfection - thank you and thank you again for not changing anything and maintaining the standard, very happy diners.More

We had a great stay, very clean & cosy comfortable room, evening meal and breakfast - very tasty...good traditional pub grub. Really lovely atmosphere created by Sue & Clive, the friendliest proprietors you will ever meet. Thank you again we hope to be back soon.More

We visited Litcham in June for a week’s holiday and to attend a wedding. We self cater and normally only eat out once or twice in the evening. On our first night we discovered the Bull Inn. Apart from the wedding and a fish meal...at Wells-next—the-Sea we ate at the Bull every night. A little bit of a wait for food but as it’s freshly cooked to order by Clive we didn’t mind the wait. Very reasonably priced. Generous portions. Beautifully fresh vegetables. Comfortable environment and a bar managed and efficiently run by Liz and her team. If it wasn’t 370 miles away we’d be back again and again.More

We met up with friends who are lucky enough to have this lovely pub as their local. Sue is a great front of house and husband Clive does the cooking assisted by friendly servers, proper traditional pub food, delicious and plentiful. We all went for...the roasts which were as close to home made as I have ever tasted. Somehow we made room for dessert which were all homemade and tasty. In a county where traditional pubs like this are vast becoming food led pretentious gastropubs, this fab local is a rare find.More
