In april we visited this restaurant. We were the third and last table this evening. The host and the chef were extremely friendly and we ended at the bar talking about motorcycles, holidays and politics. We had the pan au tomate and the fromage presse for starters. Both were beyond good. They made us crave for our main courses. I... More

A wonderfully atmospheric place to eat, on the edge of an ancient village next to an even more ancient spring. The fist two courses were wonderful. Loved the wild boar (sanglier). Dessert was a bit of a let down. Not cheap but pick the right dishes and it's fabulous. Note toilets not disability friendly.

Amazing place and fantastic food. We arrived with no reservation and we're made welcome immediately. The hostess was wonderful, very patient as we muddled our way around the menu and explained as much as she could each of the dishes. Seated straight away, drinks came within minutes and orders were taken. The food is well presented and tastes utterly good.... More

After visiting the amazing castle we were looking for restaurant with character reflecting the historical past of the region. We stopped and looked at a couple of places but they had a modern aspect and not what we wanted. On the road out of the village we came across the Auberge du Moulin, the menu was typical country food and... More

We visited this restaurant 15 years ago, and had a most memorable meal,we enjoyed it so much that we ended up staying at the Moulin Auberge next door. So this was a reminiscent revisit with our daughter. The owners are the same and nothing had really changed. The location is gorgeous, and the staff are engaging and humourous. 2 of... More

We had a great dinner for 5 on the terrace including modules frites starters and grilled plate of huge prawns to follow. Good desserts including panacotta, taste au pommel and crema catalans. Excellent value and service in the middle of beautiful unspoilt country.

We had a great time for lunch at this restaurant. The staff is great and the food is good. Only bad point: they keep the tomatoes in the refrigerator, so they are cold when served in a salad. (You should always keep them a room temperature.) The prices are ok for the quality, but it's not cheap.

If you are staying at Hostellerie du vieux moulin this restaurant is right opposite but isn't part of the hotel. We only discovered this on arrival but decided to eat there anyway. When we walked in the door we immediately noticed one small problem; nobody spoke English and our French is almost non existant. We managed to communicate enough to... More

Well worth getting off the main road....The restaurant is set in an abandoned water mill and is very tastefully decorated. It is between two of the most spectacular Chateaux in the region. The meal perfectly depicted the rich and hearty cuisine of the region. We would strongly recommend that you rather take the slightly more expensive menu at Eu27 as... More
