Very family-welcoming place in Azzate that offers great food and a nice service. I like this place during the winter season as it's cozy down there. You can easily come here with little kids and feel at ease even if they're not always behaving as little robots and for parents this tends to be even more important than the quality... More

Had a business lunch at Bruno's, and the food and service were both excellent. Started off with some local ham (razor thin), followed by an excellent pasta dish and a bottle of wine. Finshed with a small selection of local cheeses -- outstanding. Very nice room (downstairs), and Bruno is extremely friendly. I would definitely return.

Maybe simply the fact that we turned up half an hour before closing that found us only able to order seconds. My food was overcooked and a bit bland. The atmosphere is great in the taverna type location. All the previous reviews are pretty high, so maybe it was just a bad day and bad timing. Will try it again... More

I ate with colleagues twice at Bruno's. On both occasions the food was excellent and Bruno himself patiently talked us through every item on the menu. He was attentive and interesting and I thoroughly enjoyed both meals.

Absolutely recommended. If you are in Azzate, Varese or nearby, take a moment and go there to have a nice dinner. Food is great, warm people that makes you feel like at home and all of this at a reasonable price. Great evening!

We were staying in Azzate for 3 nights, and ate at Hosteria da Bruno on our first night. It was a Wednesday evening, and the place was packed. The food was absolutely fantastic, and the wine selection was great as well. Azzate is a quiet little town, yet this place was buzzing and had a great energy. We had three... More

We (our family) go to "Hostaria da Bruno" on a regular basis since years and I have to say that he improved in the past months, the 2 young chef are growing and reached a level of excellence. We've been here early Feb and I was really amazed, surprised by the level of the cooking, the quality of the raw... More

We've been invited by friend of our, living in the area to this restaurant. So it was really good choice. We left the owner to decide the food and that was a great decision. We had the best pasta in Italy and we tried a lot during our stay in Italy. Our secondo piatto was duck - also great. If... More
