The food was absolutely delicious, cannot fault it. We had to wait quite a while after ordering, but it was worth the wait!

Enjoyed a lovely meal with friends after a lovely canal walk. This offers table service and is dog friendly in certain areas of the restaurant. Great menu choices and friendly staff.

We have enjoyed dining in "The Ship" for many years but tonight's experience will be our last. Menu far more limited and the standard of the food was very poor.

I think (occasionally ;-) because this is very popular, the only place to have an 'afternoon tea' (if they in fact offer them0 would be outside as the place is very very popular and always crowded

Yes, some lovely walks around this area. The Ship is situated on the junction of the Leeds and Liverpool canal and the Rufford Branch canal.
