Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were staying in a beautiful cottage nearby and came here twice during the week - once for dinner and once for lunch. On both occasions the food was excellent. On the first occasion we booked online for a table for four for dinner. N...problem except that when we arrived early that evening we hadn't taken into account how busy the place would be. As the table was next to the bar it was quite noisy and a bit cramped. But the quality of the food made up for that. I had the belly pork and washed it down with Timothy Taylor's Havercake ale. Delicious. On the second occasion we came with the extended family for lunch and we sat further away from the bar in a side room (as such). This was much better, being a lot quieter. All 7 of us chose different things to eat and drink. We particularly found the dirty chips to be fun. And there were a lot of them. Service on both times we visited was warm, friendly and efficient. By the way, there is sufficient free parking which was helpful given the narrow streets in this little village.More

Came here on Sunday for the first time with a group of 8 . We all had a roast dinner which was so tasty and delicious . I would go on to say it’s the best roast I have ever eaten in a pub/restaurant. Despite...it being very busy , the staff were so friendly and efficient . Would definitely recommend and would love to come back .More

I’m a local and visit The Fox regularly for a beer. Tonight my wife and I stayed for a meal. I had the Filet cheeseburger. It was excellent the chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. My wife had the Cod...stack in a cream sauce , it was a generous portion and took a doggy bag home. The Fox is a real pub that serves excellent food. The staff are all friendly , keen and enthusiastic. They are the heartbeat of the pub. Felpham is lucky to have this gem!More

We had our evening meal at this lovely pub in Felpham village last night. Drink each when we arrived and glasses of wine with our Huss fillets, served with capers & green beans on herby creamy mash. All absolutely delicious, with drinks from Ollie, a...friendly & chatty bartender & server Amanda who was also very friendly and extremely smiley, and it’s so obvious they love their jobs, and are rightly proud to work in such an excellent pub. Oh and our bill was just over £39. A real bonus when we’re so used to the prices in London & Buckinghamshire. Poker on Monday ensured the side room was packed, with us and others in the dining area & a fair few people in the main pub area. Excellent selection of lagers, ales, ciders, wines, bourbons, rums etc. A first rate pub, fabulous addition to the area.More
