Was working in the area and taken here by friends. Arriving late I thought there would be no chance of getting any food but surprisingly the chef agreed to cook for me, half an hour after service finished. I opted for lamb shoulder which was...More

Today a group of cyclists called in for lunch. As always we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. We ate in the rear garden. The menu is more than ample, the food is served fresh, and it is very tasty. Well worth a visit.

Had lunch at this Green King pub. A good old fashioned pub near the church. I had the fish and chips (breaded haddock). It was OK but tasted slightly off and I had a bit of an iffy tummy later. The chips were good and...More
