Wanted a nice view of the sea out of the rain, this was perfect. We sat outside on the upstairs patio which is mostly covered. still some spray and wind etc, but perfect for what we wanted. My husband and I had baileys hot chocolates and they where the nicest hot chocolates I've ever had!

My friend and I visited here last weekend. We were staying locally so spent 2 evenings sat on the balcony drinking a bottle of wine , watching the sun go down. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. One young lady even remembered which wine we were drinking . Lovely relaxed atmosphere and beautiful interior. Loved it.

visited here with the family.... had the most unwelcoming and unpleasant visit to anywhere I've ever entered anywhere in the world. I really dont understand why people choose a profession in hospitality if the are clearly not able to live up to the expectations of the industry. The service was really poor, staff really unhelpful and abrubt. The food was... More

We called in here after a breezy walk on the beach for something to warm us up. We ordered some hot chocolates and a cream tea. After about ten minutes, the waitress came and told us there were no cream teas left but she could offer us a tea cake. We were disappointed but agreed as we needed some refuelling.... More

Had a late lunch here New Years day which was fine considering they were probably exhausted at the end of the holiday, the fish & chips I had were fine but the burgers the rest of the party had looked better. A bit pricey by our Cornish standards but I am sure those from up country would not complain. Parking... More

This is a regular Cornwall haunt in and out of season. We went as a party of seven for pre-booked News Year's Day lunch. Initial service was poor - mainly because staff were overstretched. Fantastic response from the owner and we enjoyed a fabulous meal. Looking forward to our next visit.

We ate here last week, Friday before Christmas.. Pleasant meal after our 5 hour drive for our family Christmas break. One of our party is Gluten free and they accommodated well. Overall food was good. Staff were friendly enough but no real exchange other than the basic requirements, assume they all just wanted to go home for their own break... More

We ate hear numerous times during our stay. Food good for the price and a wide selection of choice available. For those non-smokers, could management consider having a smoke free section outside. The female waitress from NZ is a credit to yourselves. Would recommend booking during high season/ half term.

We ate here last week. Pleasant meal after a long drive down. Food good. Staff pleasant although no real personal exchanges. Was a bit 'end of season'.
