There was not much choice of places to eat in Servoz - The number one TA rated place had all the staff outside eating their brunch before service began. So we walked by La Suavageonne before turning back on the edge of town, and ventured on to the terrace. There was a formula menu du jour- but stuck with the... More

This seemed to be the only bar in the village - well actually a restaurant with a bar, so being late morning we lingered over a coffee then started to watch the food come out for early lunch diners. In the end we also ordered an early lunch - the Sauvageonne salad, which hit the walkers' spot perfectly!

We ate lunch at this friendly and homey restaurant in February, having just come across it by chance. The set lunch menu was excellent value at 15€, the food was thoughtfully prepared and all 3 courses were delicious. Service was friendly, and I got the impression the restaurant was popular with the locals. The cook spoke with the customers, and... More

we stayed in a terrible hotel nearby but found this restaurant which provide a good welcome and very good, local food. It was so good that we returned on our jouney back from Italy in September.

Superb. Everything that you expect of a rustic provincial French restaurant. The Maitre D looked in the kitchen with the chef and darted in and out serving and checking. A powerhouse of a lady.

We looked for some where to have a light breakfast. This was not to be. It is only a restaurant which serves coffee. I had the "house" hot chocolate, which came out of a commercial powder container and my wife coffee. Service was fine, we were 2 of 3 people there, admittedly in the morning. tables are set well and... More

Very friendly service & a good though not too large selection of dishes. We enjoyed a cheese fondue one night & also the tartiflette was excellent. Lots of local fare, including cheeses & cured meats. Excellent salads & very good bread. Good wine list & the waiting staff were happy to make recommendations.

After a long outing with grandchildren and their parents, during the day, we were looking for somewhere nice to spend the evening watching the sun going down - just the two of us. La Sauvageonne is a cafe and restaurant in the middle of the village of Servoz. There is parking nearby, behind the church, but we walked the 1.5... More

We stopped off at this village restaurant with a number of our friends from our car tour for a coffee stop. The atmosphere is typical for this area. The service was fast and friendly.

Just in from Geneva Aiport, wonderful weather and clearly going to be a very pleasantly sunny evening, decided to have a meal out, and chose La Sauvageonne out of the two restaurants in the village. We were a party of 5, made up of three adults, a 3-year old, and a tiny baby. We chose to sit outside, under the... More
