We have eaten here twice now and on both occasions the food was simply outstanding. If you are in this neck of the woods and you like good food look no further.

Right next to Newlyn harbour, this lovely little pub with its low ceilings and friendly staff has an extraordinary menu of fresh fish dishes. The hake with squash risotto and beetroot was absolutely stunning. Highly recommended.

We walked in from Mousehole and it was well worth the walk. On arrival the staff were very welcoming and as it turned out they had been very obliging before hand. They kept the secret that other members of my family were joining us. The...More

From coming in the door to walking back out again it was awesome. Dig greeted, seated by the table and given dog treats. Simply amazing fish and good service. Warm cozy pub but bright and you didnt feel like you were eating “bar food”. Top...More

Very good food but staff were grumpy and one of our party received 2 sardines as a 'main course' version of their £7.25 one sardine starter. £14.50 for two sardines with no accompaniments.

We visited the pub on Friday night. There is a good choice of fish on the menu. We had scallops and crab for starters and Hake and Turbot for mains. The food was certainly worth the walk in the rain. Sadly the staff were not...More

Yes. We visited in February for lunch. It's quite a traditional unpretentious pub and as good for a pint as a meal. Imagine it's much busier this time of year but our dog was very welcome anywhere in the bar area.
