We were staying close by so popped in with the dog for breakfast. Large portions and tasty food certainly set us up for the day. We were outside and it was rather a cold day for summer, shame they don't have heaters out there.

Whilst staying close by we found this wonderful cafe , first for morning coffee and then lunch on two days . Goats cheese with salad on sourdough was one I would recommend , the Halloumi dish another . Good value for money and a far...cry from a bit of salad and a few crisps to fill up the plate . It was good quality food - all against a backdrop of a friendly welcome and attentive service . Shame I live in North Wales or I would be back quite often . There is a small municipal car park next to it which can be quite busy so it pays to plan your visit .More

Lovely staff, lovely little cafe, and an excellent crab sandwich, about the going rate at £14 so sounds expensive for a sandwich but reflects the price of crab and they don't stint on the portion size!

Quick stop for coffee at Duke Street - a very popular place! Had a nice spot to sit outside, and enjoyed a nice coffee and a slice of homemade cake. Setting was nice. Staff friendly.

We came back to use this for our breakfasts every day for our walking holiday as they are just sooooo good! The people are lovely and the food is terrific - what's not to like. I am worried about giving too good a review in...case we can't get in next time!More

We’ve had breakfast here in the past, which was excellent so decided to try the cream tea and cakes this time. We certainly weren’t disappointed, I had the Raspberry and Lemon cake while my wife had a cream tea, the cake was very tasty with...a lovely light sponge and the cream tea was outstanding with proper homemade scones (no scone mix here thank goodness) would definitely recommend.More

After a near nightmare to try & park in the manic small adjoining car park I was disappointed to find the cafe doesent do toastie any more. We had a cheese & chutney sandwich with side salad. So sorry to say we found it so...dry. There was a small trace of spread ( don’t think this was butter) & as we tried to eat the doorsteps, which was tricky, all the cheese fell out. Coffee & tea fine. The staff were absolutely lovely, polite & friendly. But very sorry to say that we probably won’t be returning any time soon. Just saying 😊More

We’re very fond of this cafe. The staff are great and the food is even better. Last year they were open in the evening and it became one of our go to places. We were disappointed to learn they no longer serve evening meals but...do sell take awaysMore

We had a lovely lunch in this friendly little cafe next to our AirBnB, which serves tasty fresh food and has plenty of choice. A nice find!
