Beautiful room, adequate service, forgettable food At lunch the restaurant was filled with business owners and expensive looking ladies who lunch. We tried several dishes, the best of which was the aquachilies, however, I've certainly had better aquachilies in different places in Mexico. If you require high end dining atmosphere, eat here, but there is a lot better food available... More

We actually had lunch and dinner here on the same day! One hot morning we walked from the historic district to Fuerte de San Miguel, and we were thirsty and starving when we returned. There was La Pigua! So we went in for a lunch of sopa de mariscos and beer. That was just what we needed, and the place... More

The decor is very elegant. The price reasonable, service is very attentive. We had octopus and fish, both dishes presented very well and tasted good. I would definitely return.

When entering the place I never thought to find so expensive prices in a town like Campeche, not a good surprise, I tried the Pan de Cazón, it was good, and they provided good bread and a nice Caldo de Camarón as courtesy entree, the place has a nice atmosphere, pretty simple but nice, although food was food, I found... A very fine and elegant traditional style restaurant, serving the best Campeche-Style food in town. You can see the locals as well as visitors enjoying delicacies of Capeche food. Mainly sea food, made with fresh ingredients from the Gulf of Mexico. worth the visit!

Excellent sea food with a large choice of drinks. Good staff. This can be seen as a fancy place and also more expensive than average but the quality is there.

We ate Crab claws and "Black Seashell" which they describe as snail but I understand to be the mollusc in the Conch shell. Both were delicious and cooked perfectly. The wine list by the glass had no choice. 1 white 1 red. Both ok. No vegetable or salad as a side dish to speak of. Waiter very good.

The food is delicious and original, the waiters infallibly attentive and courteous, and if you have the luck to talk to the owner (and author of most if not all of the recipes), your day is complete! Try the Sir Francis octopus, the coconut shrimps, the green pampano, the ceviche and don't forget the guayaba pie. As for drinks, the... More

Everything is good here!! Stone crab claws, fish patê, Sir Francis calamari, shrimp bisque, pan de cazón (a local classic and treat) and good dessert, tea and coffee selection. Service is impeccable. Totally worth the visit if in Campeche!

The place is outside of the historic downtown. Pleasant deco, but nothing out of this world. The service is good. Their coktails are simply bad (couldn't make a good margarita) Food is ok, but nothing that justifies the price. There's plenty of other better options.

Thank McMarcus
