We walked from the historic district along the Malecon to this restaurant. (One report indicated it was about a mile. We walk a lot. Trust us, its more than that. We took a cab back.) We passed all the restaurants, which are right next to one another, on the Malecon side, so we didn't get the brunt of the aggressive... More

Excellent restaurant on the "Malecon" which is the road along the sea from about 1 mile from the historic Center. Be aware that you will be harassed by the waiters from all the restaurant around offering you anything to go to a competing restaurant. Just thank them and keep walking until you get here. The place is laid back and... More

We went with a group of 8. Driving in to the restaurant area is an annoying experience as the waiters of the first restaurants on the strip are overly aggressive in trying to get you to come to their place, gong so far as tryng to block the car. Los Delfines is in the middle of the strip and the... More

Stopped by on the drive into Campeche. The engachadores at the entrance to the Malecon were very obnoxious blicking the way to nearby restaurants. This was NOT the case at Delfines. The greeter was friendly explaining the menu and showing us the available fresh fish. We chose different shrimp dishes. The fresh guacamole was delightful in taste and presentation. The... More

We live in Cancun so we are blessed with beautiful views. This "malecon" sits on the Gulf of Mexico with deep waters and isn't exactly the Caribbean Sea I'm used to seeing. That being said, the restaurant isn't at fault for that. The place was packed the day we went. As you drive in there are many restaurants and many... More

We arrived to Campeche City and were looking for good seafood such the city is well known for its sea fare, passing by the malecon we saw a few waterfront restaurants and decided on Los Delfines it's a simple place nothing fancy about it but the view the sea breeze and most of all the food was superb we were... Hard to believe we were at the same restaurant as so many reviewers. Yes, you face the water, but it's a murky colour and not particularly attractive setting. Most of their shrimp dishes are fried and have a thick batter. As fot the coconut shrimp, it's sweet, not surprisingly as it comes in a coconut shell stuffed with applesauce. Ceviche... More

Sadly, we were the only diners when we ate here, but we had two excellent pasta dishes, including what my wife described as the best seafood pasta she'd ever had - and here father was Italian. Note that when we went in February, we weren,t able to stroll downthe promenade watching the sunset as he restaurant closes promptly at 7.

The food was great but what made it worth the money was the excellent presentation of the food and all the additional fruits which came on the side of the shrimp plates. Our group of 5 enjoyed the meal and a few of them can be a bit critical. It was all well enjoyed.

The view from this restaurant is gorgeous. We cycled to it from Campeche (easy cycle) and had a delicious lunch of giant coconut shrimps. These were beautifully presented in a coconut shell and the food, setting and service made this a very memorable lunch. This did not feel like a tourist hotspot to us, when we there other customers were... More
