Real traditional British pub. Very friendly staff, good food, reasonably priced. Lots of old pictures on the walls, very interesting, but I guess the main attraction is an aquarium containing tree frogs. Would recommend.

We stayed in the village and were made to feel very welcome in the Kings Arms. It's divided into separate rooms and we watched a football match in one of the bars. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and there was a great atmosphere in the pub. It's increasingly uncommon to find pubs with such a good sense of... More

Great place for good beer and excellent food, dogs are welcome in this ancient hostelry. A large beer garden. Very friendly staff and locals I tried the suet steak and kidney pudding absolutely superb better than I could make at home. Couldn't recommend the place highly enough .

Good friendly pub, nice food, generous portions. Nice that it hasn't been developed into a gastro-pub. Slightly cramped for eating, but very jolly locals and no one moaned when our massive Labrador decided to go to sleep in the middle of the floor!

A friendly pub and just right for some light lunch. The cyder from Bridge Farm was particularly good and I would have had a repeat order if I had not been on my way to meet others in Kingston - by bus I should add!

Great pub food at reasonable prices. Service was good too. Pub could do with being with some TLC.....toilet door in ladies wouldn't lock, light shades in front room need attention etc but the food is good.

Visited a couple of times whilst camping in Toms Field. Small pub with little rooms with tables and chairs. Dogs accepted. Friendly locals but make sure you don't sit in one of their seats lol. Made to feel welcome. Ate here a couple of times and although the menu isn't vast there is something on there to suit all tastes.... More

We often eat here when we are camping up the road, we like traditional ale pubs with pub food. The food is normally ok, not great but ok. Last Saturday it became terrible, the chips looked and tasted as though they had been kept warm for several hours, the peas yellow, tasteless and overcooked and the fish was burnt. There... More
