Looking for the best pub in Waterloo ville/Horndean area and this is your one. Great staff and great atmosphere. Fuller's pubs always provide great choices of Ales and reasonably priced too. Good beer garden too. Only thing I would love to see is football on....More

Had lunch, staff were fantastic, food fantastic. Nothing too much bother. I was amazed at the price, it was about half that I would have to pay here in Guernsey, where I live, for the same food! Also, there is no VAT in Guernsey!

Nice traditional pub where you can still get a good pint of local HSB.😀 Airy restaurant area with good quality if unimaginative food and courteous service. Reasonable vegetarian options. Avoid the salad bar though as it is located next to the bar and I witnessed...More

the staff were rarely visible behind the bar so spent a lot of time waiting to be served. Some of the food was excellent, but other dishes were poor. The crab cakeswere very small portions, over cooked with salad that had seen better days.

The Ship and Bell is an excellent venue for meeting friends for a drink and some fantastic food, sharing platters are very generous and the steak pie is a repeat favourite. The recent events have also been well organised and highly entertaining. Very highly recommended.

Description
From flooring and furniture to a new kitchen fit-out, we’re making plenty of changes here. The pub will retain its traditional feel, but with a modern twist - using real woods, leather chairs, and a colour palette of dark greens and greys for a smart, contemporary feel.
