Popped in late last night just when we thought they were closing but they allowed us in. We had the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala, both very good and generous portions. Staff are always super friendly, we will return. Apologies if we were a little loud lol.

Very great service with very polite members of staff taking orders over the phone. The food was prepared a lot earlier then said over the phone which was very impressive for a Saturday night. The food was of high standard and i would recommend Shaon to anyone who asks about it.

The restaurant was extremely busy as it was the last night before lockdown again, the owner had been taken ill and was in hospital, so his son (who doesn't normally work there) had to take control. The staff come into their own at times like this, and we were made to feel welcome and special, even though our table was no where near ready. The food is delicious and the service, i think, is top notch! I have been here on numerous occasions but the ladies i was with hadnt, all would go again and i would recommend Shoan 100% for everything, service, food and price!

We had heard good reports about Shaon so were looking forward to our first visit. However, the service was really slow (90 minutes for main courses) and when the food did come the majority of it was dry and tasteless. We were really disappointed, even allowing for the fact it was NYE and they were extra busy. They definitely focus more on takeaway than the restaurant. They need to decide what they want to be.

Unfortunately this restaurant has gone down hill of late. The food quality was fantastic but is slipping and I have now noticed they have reduced their portions sizes (containers were literally a quarter to half full) and limited the amount of meat in dishes ( think I spotted two pieces of lamb in my biryiani last time), still charging the same prices however!! The owner is also too tight to implement a delivery service which shows their lack of foresight and intention as a business. Unfortunately I am now going to other restaurants. A shame because it’s not the food just the standards and penny pinching

We have been going to Shaon for 20 years now, and it is our favourite takeaway to get. We have tried multiple other Indians nearby and not one has ever been close to Shaon. The food is the best, and the staff are so lovely and will always insist on walking your takeaway to your car for you. Abdul in particular is very talkative and friendly towards my family, and many of my friend’s family. We would recommend shaon to everyone, and our only wish is that shaon was on Deliveroo/just eat!!

We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening at Shaon. From the moment we walked in we were treated brilliantly, with warm poppdaoms and friendly staff. Every single dish was great and very warm / fresh. We left talking about how it was the best indian we had tried - will definitely be returning.

We really enjoyed our curries from Shaon tonight and can’t wait for lockdown to end and we can take our familiar seats in the restaurant. So pleased that Abdul is on the mend after a really tough battle with Covid. Keep supporting Shaon as a takeaway and we’ll be back to normal soon

So iv been here a few times now and iv got to say the food it’s very very good.
The restaurant is nice and dark lovely friendly atmosphere service is really good and the owner is really friendly.
I would definitely recommend to go you wont be disappointed AMAZING indian food.

The food here was so delicious that my partner and I rang to tell the restaurant how happy we were with the food. We had the tikka masala, onion bhajis, Bombay potato and rice. We will be rushing back! Thank you Shaon.
