This was one of the most amazing evenings I have ever had. We had the tasting menu accompanied by the wine flight. Absolutely exceptional. Little touches that lifted the food to another level. Mouthwatering bread and canapés as we had delicious cocktails. The staff were...charming and made us feel so welcome. Thank you so much to the chef and his team. Highly recommended. Well worth travelling down from Gloucestershire and hope to go back.More

This is where we go to celebrate something special. On average, twice a year we get to the Beach House and once again, did not disappoint. We went for the 8 course taster menu, we feel it offers great value and we get to try...fish/game that we wouldn’t try at home. First class, all the courses were absolutely amazing and the service, you can’t fault it. Well worth the price, it’s a fantastic experience and great night out.More

Absolutely amazing from start to finish - the setting and scenery are incredible. The use of welsh produce was lovely to see and the gower lamb and soufflé lived up to the hype. A must visit!

Wow what a find. Booking up via the Web site was easy . Upon arrival we were greeted by a member of staff and handed a card from all the crew for our anniversary. Our dinning seats were in a wonderful position with a view...looking over the beach. All staff that served us where very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The meal was out of this world . The Beach House is a rare find and is a must to visit.More

We thouroughly enjoyed our visit. This could not become a regular visit for us, just too expensive, though that is not a complaint. The front of house were attentive, knowledgable and put us at ease from the start, my late decision to enjoy the curious...wine-flight paid off as the sommelier hit all the right notes with the choices of wine to compliment or contrast each dish. The pairing with the souffle stood out among the courses. All of the eight courses were perfect. My wife's highlight was the lobster, which for me was a very close third to both the partridge and the lamb as I could not decide which was my favourite. An immense experience, we will be back, just got to save up.More

We had been looking forward to coming here for ages, and it lived up to our expectations and more. Beautiful setting on a windswept day in South Wales, with a view out over the bay. Every member of staff gave impeccable service. But the star...of the show was the food, every course was cooked to perfection and such a pleasure to eat. And a wonderful dining experience with canapés and petit fours and a delicious bread. We will definitely be back soon!More

We had a six course tasting menu. The food was excellent and interesting with some unique twists all executed impeccably. The only quibble would be the loin of salt Marsh lamb which was a bit dense and lacking in taste. The staff were very friendly...and super efficient. Overall a fabulous lunch. Highly recommended.More

Had a stunning lunch with my wife for our anniversary. I’d booked a while ago and had great expectations, particularly after the venue was on a tv show recently. The Beach House is in a stunning location, the service was great and the food and...drinks were amazing. The laverbread loaf was to die for as was the salt marsh lamb. We’ll be back in the near futureMore

We had an evening meal here in July 2022 and it was perfect. So to celebrate a special anniversary this year we decided to book a table for lunch. Both times we had the 6 course tasting menu and it did not disappoint. Every dish...looked beautiful. All were filled with huge flavours and delightful textures. The wine flight complimented the food so cleverly and was served with passion and knowledge. All the staff were professional and seemed very happy. So nice to enjoy such delicious food in a calm, relaxed space. The amazing view is a bonus. Thank you, we hope to come back again soon.More

A delightful experience - attentive staff, amazing food. Just the place for that 'special treat'. As fluent Welsh speakers, we really appreciated that the menu and information on the website were bilingual. At thee end of the meal, we were fortunate to meet the Owner/Chef,...Hywel Griffiths, in person, in order to offer our congratulations. One star Michelin located overlooking a lovely Welsh beach about 30 minutes outside of Swansea by the Sea (there is a non affiliated hotel a short walk away). This non-pretentious restaurant uses fresh locally sourced products to prepare an excellent tasting menu in a relaxed...surrounding. We elected for the wine pairing which was filed with interesting choices. If you are looking for Michelin quality food without accompanying ostentatious snobishness you can't go wrong here.More

We had a table for 4 for lunch for my husbands birthday last week. We were really looking forward to going as it had been recommended by friends. The positioning of the restaurant on the beach is lovely and the restaurant itself very nice. When...greeted we asked to sit outside for drinks which was no problem, we were also given menus. My husband was going to have taster menu but we hadn’t realised this had to be whole table so decided on 3 courses. (It is very expensive considering it’s lunch - we have been very fortunate to have eaten in Michelin star restaurants before and have always found they do set lunch prices, obv not here) At at the table the staff were very attentive to start with but that did tail off. The food was amazing and can’t fault anything we had. The service was very poor towards the end and we were ignored for a long time. Glad we went but not sure we would go back.More
