What a gem ! The landlady has a welcome as big as her smile, you won't be disappointed. All staff are attentive, food was fantastic. Private room is great so I'll be bringing my family back for sure.
So pleased to be back here. Menu and owners have changed and wow what flavours. Most of the menu can be adapted for gluten free.
Will be on our regular list!
We booked the side room in the restaurant for my 50th birthday meal with family and friends and we received 1st class service from start to finish. The food was excellent the team couldn't do enough for us. Great pub for us in village.
I really can’t thank Hattie & her team enough for making our family wake so pleasant. The tables, flowers & candles were lovely. 27 of us descended on them & all ate too. The food was delicious & enjoyed by us all. Great place to...visit & will be back.
Thanks again Hattie.More
I’m a regular here. Me and my family always dine in at the duke of Cumberland. Food is fantastic. They have brought great Turkish cuisine into our lives, if you don’t know get to know LOL. Me and my other half love a good cheesecake...and the duke of Cumberland have the best selection! The landlady Hattie and her husband zaf have done an incredible job joining our village, they’ve brought great entertainment and events. Here are some photos me and my husband have taken over the few years we’ve been coming which is a lot LOL 👏👏👏More
Great staff, warm welcome. Menu with a good selection, and less run-of-the-mill options. Tasty, good portions and value. Family friendly, Lovely, lucky find and will definitely return when in the area.
A friendly welcome, very efficient service. The menu is a little different from the normal village pub offerings, it is good to see some variety! We had the homemade beefburger which was absolutely superb and strongly recommended.
Bought a house in the area and decided to grab lunch... quaint pub... we had to fight to get attention when we entered as the guy behind the bar was not friendly. Overall the food is not bad above average to be fair... drinks overpriced...unfortunately and kids ice cream is a total rip off though. The coffee machine was also broken. While there you have a large screen showing sport, the radio on pretty loud so it’s hard to have relaxing meal as the area is so small. With that we witnessed a horrible situation with the family who run this establishment which can only be described as shocking hearing a female girl tell a male he needs stabbing as they fought outside the window... carried out in front of kids this was unreal and therefore we just couldn’t return.More
