A friendly, traditional English pub in a beautiful setting. My wife and I each had fish and chips, followed by sticky toffee pudding. All delicious, and refreshingly unpretentious. Friendly staff and a log fire made for a very pleasant evening out.
We popped in to this pub on a wet and miserable Sunday. What a lovely welcoming, friendly pub. Attentive staff and service. We didn’t plan to eat but had a sandwich which was delicious. Definitely will return.
We arrived on the off chance we could have lunch, and we were seated straight away. Millie was on hand to take our orders and everything was served quickly and the food was beautiful. We will be back!
