Dull chain fare with a large choice but of underwhelming food. Deserts were £6 which was way too much for bought in standards of no real quality. (£6 for a banana split - one banana, three small scoops of ice cream, some cream and a...More

Nice traditional foody pub with extensive menu and surpisingly extensive specials, including 4 fish dishes! My main was fine but wife's turbot, although very generous, was dry and served with about 20 new potatoes. Will give it a second chance.

Enjoyed a platter of prawn sandwiches with Marie Rose sauce. Lovely fresh granary bread and not too much sauce.

Smart surroundings, but certainly not the food. Three chicken thighs - that means a lot of skin, sinew and small bones - were served for the £13 approx main course, without having said so on the menu when a decent cut of breast meat was...More

Visited here for lunch. Sat in the garden which overlooked the beach and sea. Very friendly staff. Food was excellent and we would definitely return.

Yes - there is a car park opposite for patrons, and also a large car park very nearby for visitors to the beach, but you would have to pay for that one.
